"Absorbing energy from the Earth's core? What absolute nonsense!" Tony snorted coldly with obvious disdain.
"I honestly don't know whether it actually absorbs energy from the planet's core or not, but I can tell you with absolute certainty that you must never allow any fire elemental to get close to underground metal ore deposits. When that happens, they become exponentially more powerful in an incredibly short period of time!"
Director Nick Fury glanced at the genuine Mysterio with newfound interest and said, "So what Beck is claiming might actually be accurate? This isn't all just elaborate fabrication?"
"I really can't say for certain! It could be pure coincidence, or maybe that pathological liar actually possesses some legitimate knowledge about elemental behavior. Fire elementals are indeed terrifyingly dangerous opponents! But that doesn't mean the other elemental types are weak by comparison. The truth is that we managed to destroy them before they could reach their full devastating potential!"
There was a distinct hint of grim solemnity in the genuine Mysterio's eyes, accompanied by a deep well of resentment that was clearly directed toward both the actual elemental creatures and the fraudulent impostor who had stolen his identity.
That theatrical charlatan was making a complete mockery of everything by parading around using his legitimate name, and the real Mysterio, who genuinely shared the name Quentin Beck, was suffering the consequences of this identity theft. The perfect example had been when he was aggressively confronted and blocked by hostile citizens on the street earlier.
The more chaos and destruction this delusional clown caused, the more personal embarrassment and shame the genuine Mysterio experienced. This impostor was systematically bringing disgrace to the honorable name of Quentin Beck and, by extension, bringing shame upon his entire universe and dimension!
The man was obviously nothing more than an ordinary human being with delusions of grandeur, yet he still desperately attempted to create elaborate illusions that would convince people he possessed genuine supernatural powers!
This pathetic fraud had apparently never considered what would happen when he inevitably encountered a truly powerful enemy in the future. Fake abilities would always remain fundamentally fake, and such deceptions would inevitably be exposed sooner or later!
[Inside the massive elemental monster's holographic interior, Spider-Man had already successfully connected a vast network of drones together using his organic webbing.]
["I really hope this electrical overload technique actually works!" He leaped upward with athletic grace, fired a web-line to attach himself to the final drone in the sequence, and then channeled powerful electrical current directly through his web-shooters.]
[The electrical surge flowed along the interconnected web-lines like lightning through a conductor, overloading and short-circuiting dozens of drones until their systems completely failed. Within moments, the damaged drones could no longer maintain their coordinated holographic projections.]
[From the external perspective, the colossal elemental monster began developing massive holes and gaps in its structure, and large numbers of previously concealed drones became visible to the naked eye.]
[Director Nick Fury observed the scene through the reinforced window as a camouflaged surveillance drone lifted its cloaking technology and appeared directly in his field of vision. However, he remained completely calm and composed, asking with professional detachment: "Agent Hill, do you have a clear target lock?"]
[Agent Hill, who had already positioned herself on the rooftop with a military-grade rocket launcher, fired a precision-guided shell that completely destroyed the exposed drone. The sudden explosive detonation startled the S.H.I.E.L.D. staff members standing behind Director Nick Fury.]
[Agent Hill allowed herself a satisfied smile of accomplishment, "Target eliminated!"]
["Boss! Our entire illusion is collapsing and failing!" Quentin Beck stood in his secure corridor and watched in horror as 3rd Gen Spider-Man crouched triumphantly on top of one of his expensive drones.]
[3rd Gen Spider-Man also spotted the villain and called out with confident determination, "The show is over, Beck!" He then began leaping with spider-like agility toward Quentin Beck's protected position.]
[The fraudulent Quentin Beck immediately realized that his elaborate scheme was falling apart and desperately commanded: "E.D.I.T.H.! Protect me at all costs!"]
["Command received and acknowledged!"]
[3rd Gen Spider-Man launched himself through the air with his fist cocked back to deliver a devastating punch to Quentin Beck, but was violently knocked away by a combat drone operating under E.D.I.T.H.'s direct control.]
[The tremendous force of this defensive strike was so powerful that Spider-Man was hurled directly into the corridor on the opposite side of the bridge. Although he attempted to fire web-lines to arrest his momentum and stick to the corridor walls, he was traveling too fast and too close to the ground, resulting in a bone-jarring impact with the metal safety railing.]
["Cough, cough, cough!" 3rd Gen Spider-Man's body smashed the reinforced railing into twisted scrap metal. He clutched his bruised ribs and coughed several times while looking up to see hundreds of armed drones gathering in a protective formation near the corridor where Beck was hiding.]
[Quentin Beck paused for a moment to assess his tactical options and then issued a desperate order: "Shut it down! Shut down the entire illusion system immediately!"]
["You can't deactivate it now! The civilians will see everything!" William immediately protested with obvious panic.]
[Quentin Beck responded with furious determination: "They will see exactly what I want them to see!!!"]
[Janice called out from her workstation: "Do you still need the ceremonial cape for your appearance?"]
["Yes! Janice! I absolutely still need that cape for the grand finale!"]
[William's fingers flew across his control interface, "Initiating complete system shutdown!"]
[The massive elemental monster rapidly dissolved and disappeared from view, leaving only hundreds of exposed combat drones hovering in formation.]
["William! Activate my phantom suit projection immediately!"]
["Copy that! Give me just a moment to initialize the hologram!"]
[While Happy maintained control of his aircraft, he simultaneously picked up his phone and located MJ's group by accessing Ned's live broadcast stream.]
["Found you! I'm coming in for extraction!"]
[He maneuvered the advanced aircraft to fly directly over the fleeing crowd of students and teachers, then slowly descended to land on the bridge roadway.]
[The massive military aircraft naturally did not escape Quentin Beck's attention, and he stared at it with growing confusion, "Who the hell is that supposed to be?"]
["Ned!!!" Happy called out as he spotted Ned and his companions running frantically through the chaos.]
["Happy!!!" Ned responded with overwhelming relief, as if he had just discovered his salvation.]
["I'm here to extract you from this combat zone! Everyone get aboard the aircraft immediately!"]
[At this moment, MJ asked with understandable suspicion: "Who exactly are you supposed to be?"]
["I'm Spider-Man's partner and colleague! Now get on the plane quickly before it's too late!"]
[Ned was absolutely shocked when he heard this revelation, "You actually work for Spider-Man?!!"]
[Happy couldn't tolerate this mischaracterization and immediately corrected him with wounded pride, "I'm Spider-Man's partner and colleague! I don't work for him – we work together!"]
[Before he could finish his explanation, several guided missiles flew from behind Happy's position and completely destroyed his aircraft in a massive fireball explosion.]
["Change of plan! Take cover in the Tower of London immediately!!!"]
[Spider-Man, who was taking cover behind an abandoned vehicle, saw the explosion and felt immediate concern, "Happy! Are you and the others okay?"]
["Yeah! We're all fine and accounted for! You focus on capturing Beck!"]
[After hearing Happy's reassuring response, 3rd Gen Spider-Man released a deep sigh of relief.]
[In his secure corridor, Quentin Beck rapidly operated the compact computer interface on his wrist, "E.D.I.T.H.! Launch a full-scale attack on Spider-Man!"]
["Acknowledged!" Instantly, hundreds of armed combat drones descended from the sky like mechanical vultures and began pursuing the young hero with lethal intent.]
[Observing the drone swarm deploying for combat, Quentin Beck shrugged his shoulders with cold determination and declared, "Fine! I'll kill those meddling kids myself!"]
[On the ground level, 3rd Gen Spider-Man began a desperate flight for survival as hundreds of drones chased him while simultaneously bombing his position with explosive ordnance.]
[He leaped upward and began swinging through the air on his web-lines, with pursuit drones firing continuous streams of machine gun rounds and guided missiles at his position.]
[3rd Gen Spider-Man maintained his evasive maneuvers through the air with his newly restored spider-sense providing split-second warnings of incoming attacks.]
"Wow! It looks like 3rd Gen Peter is incredibly agile and athletic! His moves aren't much different from yours!" 2nd Gen Gwen glanced appreciatively at 2nd Gen Spider-Man sitting beside her.
2nd Gen Peter tilted his head thoughtfully and gestured with his fingers, "Well, of course! We're all Spider-Man after all. If I have certain abilities, then his powers can't be too different from mine! Maybe just slight variations in technique and style!"
"Hmph!" Gwen snorted dismissively and turned her head away from him with obvious frustration. She could never match 2nd Gen Spider-Man's incredible agility and reflexes and was consistently outperformed by his superior abilities.
Observing her adorably proud and pouty expression, 2nd Gen Spider-Man smiled warmly and gently put his arm around her shoulders in a comforting gesture.
"So anyway, what would you like to have for dinner tonight?"
Without any hesitation whatsoever, Gwen declared, "Ice cream!"
"Right now?" 2nd Gen Spider-Man glanced up at the sky, noting that it was approaching traditional dinner time.
"Yes! I want ice cream immediately!" Gwen nodded emphatically and repeated her demand with determination.
2nd Gen Spider-Man sighed with gentle resignation, "It's really not healthy to eat ice cream on a completely empty stomach! How about we grab some actual food first, and then we can have ice cream for dessert?"
"NO! I want ice cream right now! Strawberry flavored!"
"Alright, alright! I'll go buy some for you!" 2nd Gen Spider-Man couldn't resist Gwen's enthusiastic insistence and reluctantly prepared to jump down from their rooftop perch. Gwen's face immediately lit up with joy and excitement as she followed him down.
