[Spider-Man gracefully landed on the busy bridge, his advanced nanotechnology suit retracting and transforming into a normal-looking outfit that would help him blend in with the crowd. He began systematically searching for the female vice-principal among the heavy traffic, his enhanced vision scanning each vehicle methodically.]
[When a small family car passed nearby, a large dog inside suddenly spotted him and began barking aggressively at the little spider through the window. The unexpected sound startled Spider-Man, who jumped slightly and exclaimed: "Oh! My God! That scared me!"]
[Two excited children in another passing car spotted Spider-Man looking in their direction and immediately began shouting with glee: "It's Peter Parker! Mom! Look! Look! It's really Spider-Man!" They pressed their faces against the window, pointing enthusiastically.]
[Soon more and more citizens began noticing his presence, pointing and whispering among themselves as word spread through the traffic jam.]
[Spider-Man tried his best to ignore the growing attention from the public. He remained focused on his urgent mission to find the vice-principal before she reached the airport. Using his amazing enhanced eyesight, he soon spotted her distinctive car in the slow-moving traffic. Spider-Man's mouth curved into a slight smile of relief as he began making his way over to her vehicle.]
[At that moment, the vice-principal was sitting in the back seat of her car, simultaneously listening to an important phone call while reviewing the recommendation letter that Flash had given her earlier. She closed the file and shook her head silently, though it was unclear whether her reaction was related to the contents of Flash's recommendation or to whatever conversation was happening on the other end of her phone call.]
[Spider-Man approached the rear of her car, took a moment to button up his jacket properly to look more presentable, took a deep breath to steady his nerves, walked up to her window with as much confidence as he could muster, and knocked politely on the tinted glass.]
[The vice-principal looked up at Spider-Man through the window, immediately put down her phone in surprise, and took a deep breath to compose herself before slowly lowering the window. "What's the matter, young man?"]
["Hi! Hello there! I'm Peter Parker!" he said with nervous enthusiasm.]
[Before Spider-Man could finish his introduction properly, the vice-principal raised her eyebrows with obvious concern and asked, "Do you realize that you're standing in the middle of a busy street? This is quite dangerous!"]
["Yeah! I know it's not ideal, and I'm really sorry about that, but I desperately need to talk to you! I know you're on your way to the airport for your flight!"]
["Hmm!" The vice-principal nodded acknowledgment and looked at him expectantly, waiting to hear what could possibly be so urgent.]
["MJ Watson and Ned Leeds are honestly the two smartest, most capable people I have ever known in my entire life! And I am absolutely the dumbest person in this situation! Because I selfishly let them help me with dangerous Spider-Man activities! But if I hadn't allowed them to help me, a lot of innocent people would have died! So please don't let MIT make the same mistake I did by being shortsighted and stupid!"]
["Are you suggesting that MIT is stupid?" the vice-principal asked with raised eyebrows.]
[Spider-Man was immediately horrified when he realized how his words sounded, and frantically shook his head in denial: "No! No! That's not what I meant at all! What I'm trying to say is, don't let MIT make a stupid decision! I mean, don't be more stupid than I was! Because I should never have put my friends in danger by asking for their help!"]
[He delivered these clarifying words in a completely disjointed and rambling manner, clearly flustered.]
[The vice-principal looked at him with a mixture of amusement and concern, shaking her head slightly. "You didn't really think about what you were going to say before you came here, did you, Peter?"]
["What I'm really trying to tell you is..." Spider-Man was about to continue his passionate but poorly organized argument when his spider-sense suddenly activated with alarming intensity. He immediately fell silent, his entire expression becoming deadly serious as he slowly turned his head to look toward the front of the bridge.]
[Without hesitation, he jumped directly onto the roof of the vice-principal's car to get a better vantage point. Looking ahead, he saw panicked citizens running desperately away from something. "Why is everyone running? What's happening up there?"]
[But the fleeing people had no intention of stopping to explain and just continued running past him in terror.]
[Then Spider-Man discovered the source of the panic: the bridge deck ahead of them had collapsed dramatically, as if it had been attacked by some tremendous force. Many vehicles were teetering dangerously on the edge, nearly falling off the damaged structure into the water below.]
["Oh! My God!" Spider-Man immediately activated his full nanotechnology suit, the metal flowing across his body. He knocked urgently on the car roof: "Ma'am! You need to get out of this car immediately! Everyone needs to evacuate the bridge right now!"]
[The driver quickly turned off the engine and scrambled out of the vehicle, immediately starting to run toward safety. The vice-principal attempted to open her door but found that it had somehow locked itself automatically. She couldn't escape. "The door is locked! The mechanism is stuck! Hey, I can't get out!"]
[The bridge continued collapsing at an accelerating rate. Suddenly, a massive mechanical arm stretched out from beneath the bridge structure and slammed down heavily on the roadway with devastating force. Then a familiar figure slowly emerged from the billowing smoke and dust. It was Dr. Otto Octavius, his mechanical arms writhing menacingly behind him!]
[He looked directly at Spider-Man with a twisted, evil smile spreading across his face. "Hello there, Peter!" he said with sinister recognition.]
"Otto!!!" 1st Gen Spider-Man and Rosie screamed simultaneously, their voices filled with shock and horror.
1st Gen Spider-Man and 1st Gen Gwen immediately looked at each other with alarm, then both started rushing frantically toward Otto's current location in their reality, desperate to make sure their version was safe.
Rosie stared at the Otto appearing in the 3rd Gen universe with complete amazement, and the plate she had been holding slipped from her trembling fingers and crashed to the ground, shattering into pieces.
Otto snapped back to awareness when he heard the sound of the plate breaking. He touched his face nervously and sat down heavily, trying to process what he was seeing.
He had never imagined that one day he would witness himself appearing in the 3rd Gen universe. How was this even possible? What kind of interdimensional breach could have caused this?
And that version of himself on the screen... what was the meaning behind that evil expression on his face? Was he still being controlled and corrupted by the mechanical arms' artificial intelligence?
On the other side of the viewing area, Tony squinted his eyes and studied Otto's appearance carefully. He immediately raised his hand and called up Jarvis's previously recorded video footage of Otto for comparison.
"Jarvis! Run a comparative analysis - is this the same Dr. Otto Octavius that we've observed before?"
"Comparison completed, sir. Facial structure similarity is 99.2%, which can be considered a definitive match for the same individual!"
Jarvis's analytical confirmation validated Tony's growing suspicion. This was indeed the exact same Otto they had seen in previous screen footage, not a parallel universe variant.
According to all their existing data, the appearance of alternate versions from parallel universes would never be completely identical, with the highest similarity rating typically not exceeding 90%. This information had been consistently verified through observations of Quentin Beck, J. Jonah Jameson, and even the different versions of Peter Parker and Aunt May.
But now an Otto with over 99% similarity had appeared. Unless their previous scientific assumptions were completely wrong, this had to be the exact same Dr. Otto Octavius they were familiar with from the 1st Gen universe.
[Spider-Man, who was still crouched on the vehicle's roof, waved at Otto with obvious confusion and concern. "Hi there! Do we... do we know each other somehow?"]
[Otto looked at the small figure with growing anger, clearly mistaking this version for 1st Gen Spider-Man due to their identical appearance. "What did you do to my fusion reactor machine?" he demanded furiously.]
[Spider-Man spread his hands in genuine bewilderment. "I honestly don't understand what you're talking about! What machine are you referring to?"]
["The artificial sun reactor in my laboratory! My life's work! It's completely disappeared!" Otto's voice was filled with rage and desperation.]
[Spider-Man attempted to de-escalate the dangerous situation through reasoning: "Sir! Please listen to me - if you stop destroying cars and endangering innocent people, we can work together as a team and I can help you find whatever machine you're looking for!"]
[Otto raised his eyebrows skeptically, convinced that Spider-Man was deliberately playing ignorant with him. "You want to play games with me, do you?" he asked with menacing sarcasm.]
[The two massive mechanical arms behind him suddenly pierced through two nearby cars like they were made of paper, then swung the vehicles toward Spider-Man with tremendous force. "Let's see you catch these!"]
[Spider-Man nimbly dodged the first airborne car with his enhanced reflexes, then quickly raised both hands to catch the second vehicle. However, the tremendous impact force from the heavy car caused Spider-Man to crash backwards into the vice-principal's car with bone-jarring intensity.]
[The car in his hands still carried enormous inertia that he couldn't completely absorb. It flipped over the bridge's safety guardrail, and the momentum carried Spider-Man along with it as he was thrown out into open air above the water.]
[The little spider, who was now falling toward the water below while still grappling with the car, suddenly noticed through the windows that there were still people trapped inside the vehicle. He immediately began climbing up from underneath the falling car, moving with incredible speed despite appearing to move slowly. He shot out webbing with one hand while grabbing the front bumper of the car - which had flipped again in mid-air - with his other hand. Using his web-shooters strategically, he managed to stick the web line to the underside of the bridge and secure the dangling car safely.]
[Meanwhile, the female vice-principal discovered that the passenger door on the right side of her car was now completely blocked by the damaged guardrail and couldn't be opened. She was effectively trapped, and Otto was already advancing menacingly toward Spider-Man's position.]
[Spider-Man quickly tore open the damaged car door and helped rescue the terrified family of three who had been trapped inside. "It's okay! You're all safe now! Nobody's hurt! Get away from here as fast as you can and find somewhere secure!"]
