Chapter 511 - Chapter 511: Competitors

[As soon as Spider-Man had successfully sent the three rescued family members to safety, one of Otto's massive mechanical arms suddenly shot out and wrapped around him with crushing force, coiling tightly and completely immobilizing him in its metallic grip.]

[Otto looked down at the trapped Spider-Man with cold, calculating eyes. "Do you honestly think these fancy new high-tech combat suits of yours can save your pathetic life?" he asked with menacing satisfaction.]

[As he spoke with cruel deliberation, another mechanical arm reached out and grabbed Spider-Man's head with brutal precision. Otto applied tremendous pressure, using the arm to lift Spider-Man up and then slam him down violently into the vice-principal's car with bone-crushing force.]

[Although the car's reinforced window glass was of excellent quality and managed not to shatter completely from the devastating impact, the entire vehicle was hit with such tremendous force that it crashed through the stone guardrail. The collision sent debris flying everywhere, and now half of the car's body was hanging precariously over the edge, suspended above the churning water below.]

[Otto wasn't finished with his brutal assault. He continued gripping Spider-Man tightly and hurled him far away across the bridge with superhuman strength.]

[The little spider's body smashed directly into a large metal road sign mounted on the bridge structure. The thin metal sheet was completely penetrated by Spider-Man's body as he crashed through it, and his momentum carried him further until he slammed heavily into the side of a passing delivery van.]

[Otto began advancing toward Spider-Man's position, his mechanical arms moving like predatory creatures as they carried him forward. "I should have taken the opportunity to kill your precious girlfriend when I had the chance!" he taunted with sadistic pleasure.]

[This threatening statement about MJ undoubtedly enraged Spider-Man beyond measure. Four metallic spider legs suddenly pierced through the damaged iron sheet of the truck with sharp, violent sounds. Spider-Man crawled out of the wreckage and looked at Otto with cold, deadly intensity. "What did you just say?" he asked, his voice filled with dangerous warning.]

[After discovering that the little spider also possessed four mechanical appendages similar to his own, Otto smiled with genuine appreciation at his mechanical arms and said with dark humor, "Well, well! It looks like we have ourselves a worthy competitor!"]

[Spider-Man landed gracefully with a perfect front flip and immediately launched himself into fierce combat with Otto. After skillfully dodging several powerful tentacle attacks in rapid succession, he pounced with incredible speed and managed to knock Otto backwards onto the roof of a nearby car.]

[Just as Spider-Man was about to deliver a decisive punch, Otto's mechanical arm grabbed him with lightning reflexes and pushed him away with even greater speed than Spider-Man possessed. The arm then immediately pulled him back and pressed him down heavily against another car with crushing force.]

[Otto's second tentacle followed the attack immediately, attempting to launch what would have been a fatal strike against Spider-Man's exposed torso. However, the attack was expertly deflected by Spider-Man's own mechanical legs. Taking advantage of this opening, Spider-Man jumped up with explosive power and knocked Otto away, finally breaking free from the crushing restraint of the mechanical arm that had been pinning his chest.]

[Otto, who had been forced backwards by the counterattack, continued his relentless assault without missing a beat. Two of his tentacles maintained continuous attacks on the little spider, while the other two secretly grabbed cars from both sides of the bridge and then slammed them together toward Spider-Man in a devastating pincer movement.]

[After dodging continuously with incredible agility, Spider-Man reacted with superhuman reflexes and performed a perfect backflip to escape the crushing trap. He fired spider silk to stick to an overhead road sign, attempting to create some tactical distance between himself and his opponent. However, Otto didn't give him any opportunity to regroup and immediately repositioned himself directly above Spider-Man.]

[Spider-Man fired webbing directly at Otto, but the attack was easily blocked by one of Otto's mechanical arms. However, Spider-Man was far from defeated, and he used the momentum from his position below to swing over and deliver a powerful kick to Otto's torso.]

[At this critical moment, the vice-principal trapped below shouted desperately: "Peter! Please save me! The car is slipping!!!"]

[Spider-Man suddenly realized that the vice-principal's car was about to fall completely into the river below, and he immediately stood up and prepared to jump toward her location to attempt a rescue.]

[But Otto had predicted exactly this move, demonstrating his tactical intelligence. Two massive mechanical tentacles suddenly stretched out with incredible reach, grabbed both of Spider-Man's arms simultaneously, and lifted him up into the air, preventing him from reaching the endangered woman.]

[Otto lifted the struggling little spider toward the news helicopter that had been filming the battle from above, then used his third mechanical arm to clamp down on the aircraft's tail rotor assembly. His clear intention was to position Spider-Man directly under the spinning rotor blades to kill him in a gruesome fashion.]

[At this critical moment of life and death, with the rotor blades spinning dangerously close to his head, the little spider shot out webbing forcefully downward and managed to catch onto a heavy car below. He then pulled with all his enhanced strength, causing the car to swing upward and crash into the road sign structure with tremendous impact. Otto's body was immediately shaken by the violent collision.]

[The little spider took advantage of this momentary disruption to break free from Otto's mechanical restraints and rushed toward the vice-principal's precarious position, swinging on his spider silk with desperate urgency.]

[Otto immediately landed back on the bridge surface with heavy impact. One of his tentacles grabbed a massive cement pipe that had been loaded on the back of a construction truck, lifted the heavy object high above his head, and hurled it down toward the swinging spider with crushing force.]

[Spider-Man barely managed to evade the projectile with a desperate side flip. With the vice-principal in immediate mortal danger, he realized he couldn't afford to get entangled in prolonged combat with Otto any longer. He made the tactical decision to roll on the ground to avoid Otto's follow-up attacks and focus entirely on the rescue mission.]

["Don't worry! Ma'am! I'm coming to get you!" Spider-Man yelled as he ran at full speed toward her position, with Otto following closely behind him and launching continuous attacks without letting up for even a second.]

[Just as Spider-Man finished his reassuring shout and was searching for the perfect opportunity to fire spider silk to grab the dangling car, Otto threw a smaller section of the cement pipe at him with deadly accuracy. The projectile struck Spider-Man hard in the back, sending him stumbling forward.]

[Although he had been hit with significant force that would have incapacitated a normal person, Spider-Man continued running toward the vice-principal with unwavering determination. Otto grabbed another nearby car and hurled it at Spider-Man with the intention of crushing him completely.]

[With the crucial assistance of his spider-sense warning system, Spider-Man performed a perfect backflip without even looking behind him and successfully dodged the massive projectile. The car crashed directly into the large water tank that had been installed to separate traffic at the intersection, creating an enormous splash that sent water cascading everywhere.]

[At the same moment, the female vice-principal's car tilted completely past the point of no return and began falling toward the water below. The terrified woman inside looked down at the rapidly approaching ground in absolute horror, and in a moment of desperate clarity, she remembered to fasten her seatbelt as tightly as possible.]

[Spider-Man was still airborne from his evasive maneuver, and before he could land on solid ground, he fired a strand of spider silk with perfect aim toward the car, which now had only its rear bumper visible above the bridge's edge.]

[The spider silk successfully adhered to the back of the falling vehicle with a satisfying thwip sound. The little spider landed hard on the bridge surface and was immediately dragged toward the broken section by the tremendous weight of the falling car. His Iron Spider suit scraped against the concrete and asphalt, creating a shower of bright sparks as he fought against the gravitational pull.]

[The car continued falling at an alarming rate, and the little spider was being dragged inexorably toward the jagged broken edge of the bridge. Several mechanical spider legs suddenly deployed from his back suit, extending and anchoring firmly into the concrete to stabilize his position. The car's downward momentum finally stopped with a jarring halt.]

[At that exact same moment, a passenger train was passing directly beneath the suspended car on the tracks below. If Spider-Man hadn't managed to stop the vehicle's fall at precisely the right moment, the vice-principal would have been crushed by the collision and killed instantly.]

[The little spider began pulling up on the spider silk with tremendous effort, then secured it to the bridge structure using a spider silk bomb for additional support. The explosive device detonated and fired two additional web lines in opposite directions, both sticking firmly to the broken concrete sections and significantly increasing the overall bearing capacity of his improvised rescue system.]

[He carefully released his grip and lowered himself down toward the dangling car, pulling himself along the webbing. "Ma'am! Please stay calm! Take deep breaths! Are you injured at all?"]

[Otto had also followed Spider-Man's path and descended to the underside of the bridge structure. When the terrified vice-principal saw the mechanical-armed villain approaching, she screamed in terror, "No! Stay away!!!"]

[Spider-Man quickly turned his head toward the approaching threat, but before he could react defensively, a mechanical arm grabbed him with crushing force and began swinging him around violently in the air like a rag doll.]

["I promise you! Everything is completely under control!" Although Spider-Man was being held in a crushing grip that made breathing difficult, he still continued attempting to comfort the vice-principal and reassure her that she would be safe.]

[But he had seriously underestimated Otto's raw physical power and tactical ruthlessness. Otto grabbed the little spider with multiple mechanical arms and slammed him upward with such tremendous force that he crashed through the thick concrete ground of the bridge and emerged on the surface level. Then Otto immediately pulled him back down and smashed him heavily against a massive steel support beam underneath the bridge structure.]

[Before Spider-Man could catch his breath or recover from the devastating impact, another mechanical arm grabbed the center of his chest armor and pulled with tremendous force, completely tearing off a significant portion of the protective plating from his torso.]

["Warning: Suit integrity compromised! Armor damage detected!" The suit's artificial intelligence assistant immediately sounded urgent alarms throughout the helmet's heads-up display.]

Seeing the chest armor being violently ripped away from the Spider-Man, Rosie felt a wave of genuine worry wash over her. "Oh no! It looks like the 3rd gen Peter is in serious danger!"

"It's not nearly as simple as it appears!" Otto shook his head with the wisdom of experience. He understood his own mechanical arms and their capabilities better than anyone else. No matter how powerful and destructive they were, he was still fundamentally just a mortal human being with normal physical limitations.

Whether facing 1st Gen Spider-Man or this younger version, as long as either Spider-Man decided to get completely serious and stop holding back their true strength, they could potentially kill him with a single devastating punch. The only reason he had been able to fight with two different Spider-Men for extended periods was because both of them were fundamentally good people who didn't want to seriously injure or kill anyone, even their enemies. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to defeat even one of them, let alone ten.
