Chapter 526 - Chapter 526: Several People Who Changed Their Minds

[Otto looked at the Green Goblin with desperation and pleaded: "Norman! NO!"]

[The Green Goblin glared at him with pure malice, his voice dripping with contempt, "Shut up! You obedient little dog!"]

[3rd gen Spider-Man shook his head firmly, "You don't know what you're talking about!"]

["I see you in Norman's cowardly eyes, trying to get everything you want! But this world forces you to make a choice! God doesn't have to make a choice! We just take everything away!"]

[Max listened to the Green Goblin's seductive words, looked at the electrical absorption device that had lit up again as his power surged back, and silently made up his mind. The promise of being special, of being powerful, was too tempting to resist.]

[3rd gen Spider-Man also noticed the dangerous change in the others' mentality and shouted urgently, "May! Run!"]

[Aunt May immediately turned around and ran toward the exit. Max decisively took off the last remaining bar of the absorption device, his electrical powers flooding back into his system. Meanwhile, the Green Goblin also tore off the spider silk that had stuck him to the workbench with supernatural strength.]

[Max's palm released brilliant electrical energy, and he used his electromagnetic powers to suck the Ark Reactor from the fabricator over to him. He had been coveting this powerful energy source for a long time, and now he could finally make his move.]

[3rd gen Spider-Man watched this scene unfold, but he was powerless to stop it. Max's lightning seemed to move in slow motion to his enhanced perception, but it was actually so fast that it triggered his spider-sense, and he was barely able to dodge the electrical discharge.]

[Max successfully obtained the Ark Reactor, his eyes glowing with electrical energy as he felt the immense power flowing through the device.]

[The Green Goblin casually waves his hand with enhanced strength and sends 3rd gen Spider-Man flying across the room, crashing into the wall.]

[Marko saw that the situation had turned dangerous and immediately transformed into wind and sand, his particulate form scattering and disappearing through the ventilation system.]

[Aunt May ran out the door as quickly as possible and pressed the elevator button frantically, her heart pounding as she clutched the bag containing the serums.]

[But after Max obtained the Ark reactor, he began to absorb the energy inside with reckless abandon. The entire building was affected by his electromagnetic field, and the lights began to flicker ominously as power systems throughout the structure were disrupted.]

[Otto looked at Max with horror and asked, "Oh! My God! What did you do?"]

[Max glanced at him with cold indifference and said mockingly: "I liked you better before!"]

[Then he waved his hand and used his electrical powers to grab Otto with an electromagnetic field, pushing his hand forward with tremendous force. Otto broke through the wall and was thrown down from the upper floor.]

[Otto desperately used his mechanical arms to grab onto the building's exterior wall in mid-air, his AI systems working frantically to prevent him from falling to his death on the street below.]

[Jameson, who was positioned downstairs with his news crew, heard the explosive noise coming from the upper floors and immediately commanded his cameraman to film, "Up there! He's up there! The guy on the bridge!"]

[Aunt May saw that the elevator was taking too long to arrive, so she pivoted toward the fire escape stairwell. She kicked the heavy door open with determination and began to descend the stairs as quickly as possible.]

[Max stood on the edge of the building's breach, his form crackling with electrical energy as he madly absorbed the power from the Ark reactor. The device's energy flowed into him like a river of lightning, making his entire body glow with blue-white electricity.]

[The wind and sand that Marko had transformed into flowed past his feet in a controlled spiral, forming a massive tornado that descended toward the street below.]

[Max also transformed his body into pure electrical energy, entering the sandy tornado that Marko had created, and together they left the building in a spectacular display of elemental power.]

[Connors, who had been waiting in the truck below, was not willing to be left behind. He broke out of the vehicle and escaped from the scene, his reptilian instincts telling him to flee before law enforcement arrived.]

[This incredible scene terrified Jameson, who stammered to his cameraman, "Did you see it? Did you get all of that?"]

[The police officers he had called to the scene were knocked to the ground by the combined might of Marko's sandstorm and Max's electrical discharge, their equipment scattered and useless.]

[The two powered individuals separated and ran away in different directions, one heading left and one heading right, leaving destruction in their wake.]

"Wow! 3rd gen Peter is in big trouble now! I didn't expect that this Green Goblin is so good at manipulating people!" 2nd gen Spider-Man scratched his head with concern.

"Max wasn't willing to turn back into a normal person in the first place, not to mention the Green Goblin actively trying to sow discord. I don't know how Peter in that universe will handle this!" 2nd gen Gwen shook her head, knowing that things would not go so smoothly.

"Max, he is still an ordinary person now, right? He hasn't gained any super powers!" 2nd gen Spider-Man also remembered that he hadn't visited him for a while, and wondered how the other party was doing recently.

2nd gen Gwen knew what 2nd gen Spider-Man meant, and replied, "Yeah! I wonder if he will be as unwilling as the one on the screen?"

2nd gen Spider-Man frowned, "That shouldn't be the case, should it? Does he want to jump into the electric eel pool again? Moreover, Harry has installed a protective cover to avoid any danger, so no one can fall in."

"It's not a certainty, but maybe he would be a little envious of himself on the screen. After all, turning into lightning is really exciting, right? Everyone has a dream of being a hero, right?"

"Well! What you said makes sense. Why don't we go and see how he is?"

"Sure! Why not do it later?" 2nd gen Gwen agreed readily.

Max didn't know that 2nd gen Spider-Man and the others were coming to see him. He was still immersed in complicated emotions. He was indeed a little unwilling to remain an ordinary person, just like himself on the screen.

However, another aspect that satisfied him was that he was no longer an unknown person. He was now the center of attention and everyone knew him. Pedestrians who saw him on the street would greet him, so gradually he no longer desperately craved extraordinary powers.

The reappearance of Electro Max made him the focus of public opinion once again, but this time it inevitably aroused his inner ambition. However, it was not pure selfishness, but rather he wanted to become 2nd gen Spider-Man's helper.

Max is a complete Spider-Man fanatic. After they became friends and interacted frequently, their relationship became even stronger. Even Harry looked at him differently and made him an important person in charge of the Osborn Group's power systems.

[Inside the room, 3rd gen Spider-Man and the Green Goblin are engaged in brutal hand-to-hand combat, trading punches and kicks with savage intensity.]

[The Green Goblin punched 3rd gen Spider-Man with such force that he broke through the window glass and almost fell off the building. At the critical moment, he shot a strand of spider silk that stuck to the Green Goblin and pulled himself back up.]

[The Green Goblin grabbed the spider silk stuck to his chest and used it to swing the 3rd gen Spider-Man like a pendulum, throwing him onto the balcony and shattering the glass doors.]

[Aunt May ran down the stairs as quickly as possible, her breathing heavy but her determination unwavering.]

[On the balcony, the Green Goblin is holding down 3rd gen Spider-Man and grabbing his collar with both hands, preparing to deliver a devastating blow.]

[3rd gen Spider-Man raised his hands and shot two strands of spider silk toward the ceiling. He then used his feet to push against the Green Goblin's torso and executed a perfect flip in the air, so that he was now on top.]

[Then they shot spider silk downward and used the pulling force to slam both of them into the ground. The balcony floor was immediately smashed through by their combined impact and they fell to the next floor in a shower of debris.]

[3rd gen Spider-Man punched the Green Goblin in the face with precision, then shot out spider silk to try to web him up and end the fight.]

[The Green Goblin immediately discovered his intention and grabbed his ankle, snarling, "Don't even think about it!"]

[3rd gen Spider-Man's legs were pulled by him, and he immediately lost his balance and fell to the ground. The Green Goblin took advantage of the situation and grabbed his legs, spinning him around and throwing him through the doorway into the adjacent room.]

[A news helicopter nearby witnessed the entire fight, its camera capturing every moment of the brutal battle.]

[The scene changes, and 3rd gen Spider-Man crashes through the wall and hits another wall heavily, lying on the ground and unable to get up for several moments, his body aching from the impact.]

[Apparently he was at a disadvantage in the battle with the Green Goblin, who possessed not only Norman's intelligence but also enhanced physical capabilities.]

[The Green Goblin smashed through the doorframe and walked out menacingly, staring at 3rd gen Spider-Man with cold satisfaction, "If you are strong enough, you can have everything!"]

[The 3rd gen Spider-Man struggled to his feet and shot out spider silk to stick to a heavy table in the hallway, using his web-slinging to hurl it toward the Green Goblin like a projectile.]
