Chapter 525 - Chapter 525: The Green Goblin Reappears

Tony praised: "As expected of you, Peter! I said a long time ago that Otto's chip has almost no protection function. Peter noticed this and added a protective shell when manufacturing the chip."

Banner touched his chin and said, "Well! The next step is to come up with corresponding treatment plans for other people's conditions."

Rhodes looked at the two men with a strange expression and complained, "Why do I feel like you have already thought about how to deal with these people?"

"Didn't I tell you?" Tony turned his head and looked at Banner again.

Banner smiled shyly, "I think so?"

"What do you mean?" Captain America looked at the two of them.

Tony snapped his fingers and said, "We did think about how to deal with these guys before, because if they come to us, I don't want to be helpless!"

"Hmm! So that's it!" Scott suddenly realized.

[Happy drove and called 3rd gen Spider-Man, but 3rd gen Spider-Man didn't answer, so he left a message: "Hi! Peter, this is Happy. I saw from the doorbell camera... Who are these people? Is that a robot? You brought a person with mechanical legs to my house?"]

["There's another person made of mud? What's going on? Call me back!"]

[At this time, in the room, the manufacturing fabricator is working continuously, its mechanical arms moving with precision as a tube of green liquid is being analyzed and manufactured. The sophisticated equipment hums quietly as it processes the complex molecular structure. It is the Green Goblin Serum. Norman is writing down the information with a pen, his handwriting becoming increasingly erratic as he documents the formula.]

[Otto stands behind Norman, adjusting his mechanical arms with a satisfied expression, "How do you feel? Norman! You will be whole soon! There will be no dark side anymore! There will only be you!"]

[Norman stopped what he was doing, his pen hovering over the paper. A strange stillness fell over him before he slowly turned around and looked at Otto with a smile, but there was something distinctly evil in that smile, something that made the air in the room feel colder.]

[Outside the room, 3rd gen Spider-Man is holding a specialized vacuum-like device in his hand, its blue lights blinking steadily. Max is waiting nearby, looking uncertain about the procedure.]

["Okay! Uh… put it here! This…" He placed the electrical absorption device on Max's chest, the device immediately beginning to hum as it detected the electrical energy within Max's body.]

["He should be absorbing the excess energy! I'll come back to check later, but... pay attention to the color of the light. When it turns all green, it means that the dangerous electricity in your body has dissipated!"]

[Max looks down at the device with a mixture of hope and apprehension.]

[3rd gen Spider-Man added: "But not all electricity. You know we need bioelectricity to keep our brain functioning! Your nervous system needs that baseline electrical activity to operate properly..."]

[3rd gen Spider-Man realized halfway through that he had gone off topic, gesturing awkwardly, "Why should I explain this to you?"]

[Max stared at 3rd gen Spider-Man with genuine curiosity and said, "Can I ask you a question?"]

["Are these your Legos?" He pointed to the various technological tools and devices scattered across the table, some clearly advanced Stark technology mixed with more rudimentary components.]

[3rd gen Spider-Man was about to answer when the doorbell rang insistently, so he immediately apologized, "I have to go, I'll be back soon!"]

[After 3rd gen Spider-Man left, Max looked at the absorption device on his chest and sighed deeply, watching the slow progression of lights, "I don't feel well!"]

["What do you mean?" Marko asked from where he was sitting, his sandy form shifting slightly with concern.]

["I don't like this thing!" Max clicked the absorption device, causing it to spark slightly.]

[Seeing this, Marko immediately warned: "Don't touch it! The sooner it ends, the sooner we can go home!"]

[That being said, as Max watched the light on the device gradually progress from blue to yellow, he felt an inexplicable fear in his heart. The steady drain of his electrical powers brought back memories of feeling powerless, and he began to recall the past when he was not taken seriously, when he was invisible to everyone around him.]

[Jameson drove to the downstairs of Happy's condominium building, and the paparazzi who was following him immediately ran towards him with cameras and recording equipment.]

["Well! Where is he?"]

["He's in there!"]

[Jameson was very dissatisfied when he heard this, his face reddening with frustration, "But we are outside now! Didn't you hear me say don't lose him? What I need is Spider-Man's crime video! I have called the Department of Damage Control! The police will be here soon!"]

[In the truck nearby, Connors saw all of this and smiled with dark satisfaction, "The fun is about to begin!"]

[At this moment, the 3rd gen Spider-Man who was studying the fabricator suddenly sensed something. His enhanced senses triggered an immediate alert, and he slowly stood up, stopping what he was doing. The spider-sense was giving him a clear warning of imminent danger.]

[He stood up, and Otto looked at him in confusion, his mechanical arms pausing in their movements, "Peter?"]

[Norman also said with false concern, though his voice carried an undertone that hadn't been there before: "What's wrong?"]

[The 3rd gen Spider-Man walks around the room cautiously, his enhanced senses trying to pinpoint the source of the malicious intent he was detecting.]

["I don't know! Aunt May?" Otto and Norman followed him, both genuinely concerned about his sudden change in behavior.]

[Aunt May heard his voice and came downstairs, her maternal instincts immediately picking up on the tension in the air, "What's wrong, Peter?"]

[After hearing her voice, 3rd gen Spider-Man immediately eliminated her as a threat source and stood still, his eyes scanning the people in the room with newfound suspicion.]

[Marko asked with genuine concern: "What's wrong? Peter!"]

[3rd gen Spider-Man glanced at everyone with sharp, analytical eyes. The Green Goblin, still appearing as Norman, walked aside with barely concealed guilt, deliberately avoiding his penetrating gaze.]

[Max looked at 3rd gen Spider-Man with confusion: "Why are you looking at me like that?"]

[3rd gen Spider-Man ignored him and quietly closed his eyes to sense more carefully, letting his spider-sense guide him to the source of the threat. Then he opened his eyes with sudden clarity and shot a web that stuck the Green Goblin's hand firmly to the nearby workbench.]

[Seeing that he had been discovered, the Green Goblin stopped pretending. He looked at his bound hands and said with a voice that was now completely different from Norman's gentle tone, "Your keen sense is a very useful skill!"]

[Otto was genuinely surprised and concerned, "Norman!"]

[The Green Goblin raised his lips in a cruel smile, his entire demeanor transforming, "Norman is going to rest! Dear!"]

Max looked around in confusion, "What's going on?"

[3rd gen Spider-Man realized the full scope of what was happening, "Green Goblin!" He glanced protectively at Aunt May. Among all the people present, he was most worried about Aunt May's safety. Aunt May understood what he meant and slowly began to back away toward the stairs.]

["No more dark side?!!" The Green Goblin repeated what Otto had said to him before with bitter mockery. It was this very sentence that had stimulated him to wrest control of Norman's body again.]

["Do you really think I would let this happen? You have no idea what true power brings! And you think I would let you take my power away like this?"]

[Aunt May took advantage of their tense conversation to quietly leave and head to the room where the fabricator was housed, knowing she needed to secure the serums.]

[3rd gen Spider-Man narrowed his eyes and said with determination, "You don't understand me!"]

["Really?" The Green Goblin said with dismissive disdain, his voice dripping with condescension.]

[Aunt May carefully picked up the prepared serum and syringe from beside the fabricator and put them into a secure bag, her hands steady despite the danger she knew was unfolding.]

["I know how she trapped you! To make you fight for her sacred moral mission!"]

[Aunt May came out after hearing this and silently clenched the bag in her hand, understanding that the situation had become critically dangerous.]

[The Green Goblin continued with growing intensity: "We don't need you to rescue us!!! We don't need to repair us!!!"]

[Then he looked directly at Marko and Max with persuasive malice, "That's not a curse! It's a gift from fate!"]

[Max looked down at the electrical absorption device that was now only two bars away from being completely full, and felt extremely conflicted between his desire to go home and his fear of losing the power that had made him feel significant for the first time in his life.]
