Chapter 524 - Chapter 524: Healing Otto

[Everyone gathered around and walked into the room, where Norman looked at the sophisticated 3D printer with obvious curiosity: "What exactly is that impressive device?"]

[Spider-Man explained with enthusiasm: "This is called a fabrication pod! It can analyze, design, and build virtually anything you can imagine!"]

[He pressed an activation switch, and the originally compact square box immediately began transforming into a fully equipped workbench with mechanical precision.]

[Aunt May observed the transformation in surprise: "I thought that was the sunbed that Happy accidentally broke!"]

[As the complete transformation finished, a glowing Arc Reactor was revealed at the center of the workstation. Max sensed its powerful energy immediately, and a brilliant golden light flashed in his eyes: "This is absolutely amazing!"]

[The next second, the transformed manufacturing box suddenly crashed through the apartment wall with tremendous force, and both Spider-Man and Otto standing outside were genuinely startled by the impact.]

[Otto looked at the fabrication pod now protruding from the building and shook his head with dark pessimism: "He's definitely going to get us all killed with his amateur experiments!"]

[Downstairs on the street, two ordinary citizens were preparing to head home for the evening. When they passed near Aunt May's parked truck, Dr. Connors, who had been restrained inside the vehicle for an extended period, couldn't help but shake the entire truck in frustration, which thoroughly scared both pedestrians.]

"He's really planning to use that fabrication technology to solve their fundamental problems!" Tony touched his chin thoughtfully. He had anticipated this approach when Peter first mentioned helping them.

"Is that device really so incredibly capable?" Rhodes expressed some skepticism about the technology's limits.

Tony glanced at him and explained: "I can't speak to everything, but the root cause of Dr. Otto's problem is simply that his inhibitor chip was damaged. Just fabricate a new one and replace it! As for the others, I do have some potential solutions in mind, but I'm not certain if Peter will use the same approaches I would."

Banner nodded with scientific curiosity: "Let's observe and see exactly how Peter plans to solve their complex problems!" He also had some theoretical ideas, so he was genuinely curious about Peter's actual methodology.

[Inside the apartment room, Spider-Man and Norman were intensively studying Dr. Otto's damaged neural inhibitor chip.]

["The chip located behind the doctor's neck was specifically designed to protect his brain and prevent it from being harmed by the artificial intelligence system that controls the mechanical tentacles. But look at this damage here... the chip has been completely burned out! So now he can't control those tentacles at all, but instead the tentacles are controlling him!"]

["This neurological inversion might explain why he's been experiencing so much psychological pain and erratic behavior!"]

[Norman examined the detailed chip projection that Spider-Man handed to him. This level of neural interface technology was merely a theoretical concept in his universe, but he was amazed that Spider-Man could already implement and use it practically.]

[Aunt May approached with a glass of water and gently patted Otto's shoulder: "Are you thirsty? Would you like something to drink?"]

[Otto glanced at her with his weary eyes, pursed his lips, and admitted: "Well, yes! I am actually quite thirsty."]

["Would you prefer fresh water or salt water?"]

[Otto looked at Aunt May with a completely bewildered expression, and Aunt May explained with obvious embarrassment: "After all, you did mention that you were an octopus!"]

["What?!! I never said that!!"]

["Oh! It looks like fresh water it is!" Aunt May realized that she was being somewhat ridiculous and walked back toward the kitchen.]

[Max stood positioned by the large window, gazing out at the sprawling cityscape: "Just look at this incredible place! Everything seems possible here!"]

[Marko heard him muttering and asked: "What are you talking about? This apartment building?"]

[Max turned to engage with him more directly: "Yeah! Yeah! I'm talking about this building initially. I absolutely love this open architectural design!"]

[Then he corrected himself with broader enthusiasm: "Of course not just that - I'm talking about this entire world! I actually kind of like who I am here! And with all these new energy sources available... I'm confident I could really demonstrate my capabilities! So what brought you to this universe?"]

[Marko walked closer to him and explained his motivation: "I have a young daughter, and I desperately want to see her again! But Spider-Man won't allow anyone to return home until he completes his little rehabilitation research project!"]

[Max studied him carefully and asked: "Do you actually believe he can succeed?"]

[Marko crossed his arms defensively: "I don't trust anyone completely! How did you end up transformed like this?"]

[Max fell into thoughtful reminiscence: "Well... at the place where I worked, they were conducting experiments with bioelectric energy generated by living organisms, and then... I accidentally fell into a containment tank completely full of electric eels!"]

["No way! That's terrible! I fell into a particle accelerator during a super collider experiment!"]

[Hearing this comparison, Max complained with dark humor: "Damn! We really need to be more careful about where we fall when accidents happen!"]

[Back in the workroom, Norman stared admiringly at the new neural inhibitor chip fabricated by Spider-Man: "This is absolutely excellent craftsmanship! This advanced technology suits you perfectly! After everything is resolved, if you ever need employment and would be willing to travel to another universe!"]

[As Spider-Man carefully inserted all the microscopic connection needles into the replacement chip, he smiled with growing excitement: "It's working! The integration is actually working!"]

[He carefully removed the completed chip from the fabrication chamber, rushed out of the room with obvious urgency, and called to Aunt May: "I'm finished! The chip is ready! Please help me get him into position!"]

["Okay! Here we go!" Aunt May immediately moved over and carefully controlled Otto's mechanical arms, lifting him into the air for the surgical procedure.]

["Oh! This is absolutely endless humiliation! You! Get that little contraption of yours away from me!!!" Otto roared and struggled against the restraints.]

[Norman called up encouragingly from below: "Hey! You can definitely succeed with this! Have some confidence in the process!"]

[Otto responded angrily: "How dare a fool who transformed himself into a monster offer me advice?"]

["Don't move your head at all! Stay completely still!" Spider-Man held Otto's head firmly in position.]

["You wouldn't dare!!!" The more Spider-Man insisted, the more Otto struggled violently. Spider-Man had no choice but to grab Otto's hair to keep his head properly positioned.]

["I swear to you, when I finally get rid of these cursed tentacles, I will..."]

[Before Otto could finish his threat, Spider-Man successfully installed the new neural inhibitor chip. Otto became completely quiet in an instant, and then his head tilted to one side as he lost consciousness.]

[Spider-Man and everyone else felt genuinely surprised and concerned: "Doctor? Doctor? Are you alright? Doctor Octavius!!!"]

[Otto suddenly regained consciousness with a sharp intake of breath. He opened his eyes wide and stared ahead with wonder: "It's so incredibly quiet! Those constant voices in my head..."]

[He closed his eyes, experiencing unprecedented mental peace, and his lips trembled with emotion: "I had almost forgotten what silence felt like!"]

[Norman looked up and shouted with joy: "Otto! You're back!"]

[Otto lowered his head and saw Norman positioned below him. He smiled with genuine warmth and slowly lowered himself down using his now-cooperative tentacles: "Yes! Norman! It's really me again!"]

[Spider-Man jumped down from the elevated position, his face completely filled with excitement and disbelief. He had never truly believed that he could actually accomplish this kind of neural rehabilitation.]

[Marko observed the successful procedure and said with amazement: "The treatment actually worked!"]

[Seeing that Otto had been successfully restored to his normal mental state, Spider-Man immediately activated the mechanical arm projection beside him and recalled all the nanomaterials that had been integrated with Otto's tentacles.]

[Otto looked at Spider-Man with profound gratitude, and the two shook hands firmly: "Thank you so much, little brother! Thank you more than I can express!"]

[Spider-Man felt tremendous satisfaction from being able to help Otto recover: "Yeah! It's completely okay! You're absolutely welcome!"]

[Otto looked at him with serious conviction and asked: "How can I help you in return?"]
