I was in this mysterious place, not wondering as if I knew, wearing a blue suit and a rectangular hat like the one a magician wears in one of his cheap shows, and under a dim lamp I sat at a round table, and in front of me sat that clown with the amputated arm, with excessive makeup and a puffy tie, and with the skill of an acrobat he was moving the playing cards in his hands, stealing glances at me with a smiling face, then he put the cards aside and pulled out three cards to put them in front of me. I stretched out my hand to pick them up, revealing one after the other as I became more terrified; one of them had a drawing of a dwarf carrying a madman, the other of a huge monster with a bloody back, and the last of a pale, mysterious woman carrying her child with red eyes. They were the monsters that visited me in my visions ! And before I realized what was happening, the monsters emerged from the cards to pounce on me amidst my screams and his thunderous laughter.
And here I woke up from my sleep. It was a dream, a dream within my nightmare life that had not yet ended.
