Neraxis stared at her speechlessly for a few moments, then gave her a peck on the forehead.
"Don't worry, I won't. I was just kidding," he assured her.
"Good." Evangeline pinched his cheek, then walked over to the bathroom, turning her head slightly in his direction. "I'm going to hop into the shower, and after that, we're going to pay the other girls a visit. They've been waiting for you as well."
With those words, she slammed the bathroom door, not letting him answer. Instead, Neraxis simply remained sitting on the bed, processing what Evangeline had just said.
He had no intention of meeting the other girls. Frankly, all he wanted to do now was snuggle up with Evangeline and rest forever.
But there was a family he had to come back to, and of course, tens of girls, some of whom had feelings for him, and others who simply stayed around.
