Zephyra wasn't sure if she was doing the right thing, but she couldn't stop herself. As she stood in front of the massive iron gate guarding Draven and Astraea's estate, her heart pounded harder than it had during any of her fights in the ring.
She had told herself she'd never come back unless Astraea invited her, but after what she saw today, she had the perfect excuse.
Valkyrie Vaelthar had walked into her café as casually as a regular customer, and moments later, Draven himself had walked in too, and there was no doubt in Zephyra's mind that they had come together.
That, in itself, wouldn't have bothered her if she didn't remember the way Astraea had reacted to Valkyrie the last time they crossed paths.
