Zephyra's POV
I was honestly over the moon.
Sure, a lot had happened. I'd seen a fake Astraea, a fake Draven, had the life almost scared out of me by a demon that slipped into a cafe like it was nothing, and then found out someone had literally mimicked Astraea right down to her voice and attitude.
But somehow, all of that was overshadowed by one tiny piece of good news, which was that I was going to be staying with Astraea again.
It didn't matter that the reason I was here was because of some crazy demon deciding to mess around with me or that Astraea had said I needed to stay under her nose so they could "monitor the situation."
What mattered to me was that I was back. I was back in her house, breathing the same air as her, and close enough to see her whenever I wanted.
That, to me, was a win. A huge win at that.
