Lariette smiled upon reading the new message from Ruediger. She had just returned from the restroom when she noticed the text.
Feeling a little refreshed after washing her face, she was ready to go back. Still, sleepiness clung to her, urging her to quickly look for her bed and pillow once she arrived home.
The school hours ended officially for today. Students started leaving their classrooms, swinging their backpacks while chatting with their friends. A few had already reached the school gates.
Lariette ran her fingers through her hair, attempting to smooth it down. Using her other hand, she sent Ruediger a quick reply.
[Lariette: Gimme ten minutes]
After making sure everything necessary was inside her backpack, Lariette got ready to leave the language faculty room. The place remained empty, but her colleagues' belongings were there.
