"Wait a minute. What playboy?" Alden snapped. "If anything, I might be the most respectful, responsible, and sane person you could ever find."
"You couldn't find a better husband than me even if you searched through thousands of worlds. Not to mention, the handsomeness comes complimentary."
He muttered as he slammed his hands onto the table.
"And more importantly, I am the furthest thing from a playboy."
Aemirya looked at him blankly, her eyes slightly narrowed while the tips of her ears seemed a little redder than before.
However, her expression barely changed.
"So desperate. If you were really such a catch, I would be pitching myself to you instead of the other way around, you know."
She shrugged.
"Who are you calling desperate? I am only doing this to infiltrate the academy, you know. It's not like you are such a catch either."
Alden scoffed.
