"Taryn, I am tired. I do not want another argument, no, not again," Phillip sighed.

"You would rather believe him, than me, the mother of your son?" she frowned.

"I am not believing anyone, but you of all people know that Iker would never be mean and disrespectful if something serious has not happened, so tell me, what did you do, Taryn?".

Taryn looked away and stopped massaging his hair. This was not the direction she had intended for this discussion to go in. The last thing she wanted was to implicate herself.

"That is not even important, back to what actually is.".

Phillip did not look pleased at all, "You are hiding some, you definitely are. Why did you change the subject so quickly?".

"Because I do not want another argument to be created. I just asked you to listen to me, Phillip. So, please, listen to me," she said.

"What exactly do you want?" he sighed.

"I want to choose Iker's wife for him.".

"I doubt he would allow you do that.".
