Chapter 231 - Her letter

Pippa paced up and down her room. This was terrible, absolutely terrible. Somehow, the servant she had sent to go to Brea's house and deliver the letter had not returned yet, and it was already past dinnertime.

She was furious, it was yet another day locked up in her room with no chance of her fulfilling her goals, she was so angry she threw another pillow out the window.

"Where is Pippa?" Clink asked, he walked into the drawing room with a frown.

"In her bedroom," Fallon sighed. He and his mother had been admiring some paintings of their family in order to pass the time.

"She is still in there?" he frowned.

"Yes, she has refused to come out, and I am certain that she has not been eating," Fallon replied.

"I am genuinely worried for her, I never expected her to be this distraught. I thought that by the second day she would be back to her usual self, but I was far from right," Glendora sighed.
