As Pippa was crying, she heard a soft knock on her bedroom door. She already knew who it was before she heard his voice.
"Go away," she said.
"Pippa, do not say that, do not behave that way," Fallon said. He was worried about her, and that was why he rushed here as soon as he saw his father leave.
"Did you not hear me say go away?" she cried.
"Please, do not lock me out, Pippa. I want to be there to give you a hug," he leaned on the door.
"Stop lying, you only want to scold me as well.".
"Pippa, how could you say that? How could you even believe it? I just want to hug you and tell you that you should not feel terrible," he said.
"Leave me alone. I am all alone in this world, you do not understand how it feels to be me alone," she said.
