Ian found himself getting angrier by the minute. Not only was Angelica unwilling to see his point of view and admit that she was wrong and apologize, she was trying to avoid the situation by reminding him of something he had not forgotten in the first place.
He was starting to see it now. Her childishness and unwillingness to admit that she was wrong. It was very irking. He felt like shouting at her, but that would not resolve their problem. No matter how loud he shouted, she would either reply with an irrelevant clause or remain silent.
Ian sighed, he turned around and paced up and down.
"You are driving me mad," he said.
"That makes the two of us, your highness," Angelica replied nonchalantly. What else could she say? This was exactly why she had no intention to tell him of her plans. He would overreact. From what she had observed when mentioning that Esger helped her, she found him the wrong person to tell everything.
