As soon as they walked out of the dining hall. Ian let go of her hand. It was more like her dropped it. It did not affect Angelica. She just followed behind him as he did not say a word.
He seemed to deliberately quicken his steps making it hard for her to keep up with him. She scoffed internally and walked faster. Each passing second, he made it very clear that he was extremely petulant and volatile
Angelica quickened her pace, not because she did not want to be left behind, but because she was tired of walking and she simply wished to go to bed. She was hoping Ian would be so angry he would simply go to bed as well. There was no use of wasting valuable time on an argument that would clearly go nowhere.
...
"Iker, Iker, wait, where are you going?" Easton called out.
Iker heard his name the second time. He stopped walking and turned around.
"I am going back to my quarters. Dinner tonight was a disaster and it was all Pippa's fault," Iker scoffed.
