Chapter 1 - The girl no one sees

This is the story of a girl and a boy who, despite being very different and coming from different social worlds, managed to prove that this doesn't matter if you have a very strong connection. (I hope you enjoy this story. Feel free to comment and share your thoughts on the first chapter and what you expect from the others.)

At a school in Japan called Nada Institute, there was a 17-year-old student named Naomi. She was very intelligent, always got the best grades, and fulfilled her duties. Although she was shy and always went unnoticed, she was practically invisible to most of the students because she didn't speak much, making it difficult to realize she was there. She only had one friend named Sofia. Sofia and Naomi had known each other since they were little, so Sofia was the only one who truly knew Naomi well.

Sofia is a normal girl, she wasn't that popular, but she did have more friends besides Naomi, but among all her friends Naomi was her best friend because of their history in her childhood, they are very close and inseparable.

Naomi's favorite food is ramen, and she also loves sweets a lot; she's a big fan of them, although she rarely shows it in front of people because she's embarrassed, even though it's very impossible for her to resist them.

Naomi lives with her mother who is an office worker at a company, so she works a lot during the day, and is almost always alone at home. She takes advantage of this time alone to read, study, or learn to cook. She doesn't leave her house, and if she does, it's only to buy food.

Naomi has a special trait; she can understand people just by looking into their eyes. It's not magic, but pure intuition, although she very rarely uses it because she doesn't look anyone directly in the eyes.

Naomi is always in her own world, whether at school or at home, because being invisible to others she is not very interested in what is happening around her and it is not as if she is waiting for someone to talk to her.

One day, like any other, Naomi was in her classroom, sitting in her seat studying as usual, without noticing or stopping to look around. At that moment, the most popular boy in school, Dan, was walking through the hallways with some friends. All the students were looking at him, and when he passed by Naomi's classroom, he stopped, stared at her, and asked one of his friends...

"Who is that girl?" Dan asked.

"She's... Naomi, if I remember correctly, but they call her the invisible girl because you very rarely notice she's there," one of his friends tells Dan.

"Why the question, Dan?" another of his friends asked curiously.

"No, it's nothing, I just wanted to know," Dan said as he started walking back down the hallways.
