Angelica finished her breakfast after taking her bath and wearing one of her last dresses. It was no secret that she had limited dresses and the others were dirty.
Angelica did not know how. Somehow, the eggs were tastless and that was a great feat considering they were eggs. She did not care for this bland food.
"Your highness, are you done?" Milra asked.
She cursed herself internally. Why did she have to be the maid that was chosen to go and attend to Angelica today? Out of the hundreds of maids in the castle, why did it have to be her?
From what she heard, Angelica had not asked any other maid their name. So why was it her? Why her? These were the thoughts that ran through her mind as she stood there in the corner waiting for Angelica to finish her breakfast.
"Take it away," Angelica waved off. The eggs was half eaten, the loaf was barely touched and it was only the tea she drank.
