Angelica opened her eyes. So this was how it felt to wake up in a warm room without the window open. Without having to worry about someone watching her, someone annoying being on the other side of the bed. She felt so warm and somehow felt happier this morning.
She got out of bed and glanced out the window. Clearly, Ian had not returned since last night. That did not bother her. In fact, she hoped that if he had not returned back to his miniature senses, then he should not even bother coming here to speak to her. She was not about to allow her day begin with his shouting.
Angelica turned to the door when she heard a knock. The knock came again. She narrowed her eyes. Doubting it was Ian, as if it was him, he would clearly not knock.
"Your highness, your highness, sorry to bother you," a voice of a maid rang out.
"Come in," Angelica said.
