Angelica had one word to use to describe Edward and that was bothersome. She was starting to see why he and Ian were such great friends, they both had that irritating trait.
He asked too many questions, he was relentless and did not take no for an answer. He did not acknowledge her coldness as a hint that she did not want him to be here. It was either he was very dumb or he simply did not care. Angelica felt that it was a bit of both.
Edward sensed her reluctance. It did not annoy him, instead he continued to smile.
"I am really helpful, and as the son of a duke, I am very used to writing speeches and letters for my father, so you can rest assured that your speech will be expertly crafted," he continued.
"I surely do not doubt your expertise, Lord Edward, I simply wish to be alone to gather my thoughts," she replied.
