A long silence followed after Amalia made her intentions cleared, that confident smile still on her face as she stared at him, while all Tesarius could do in return was gawk at her.
Is she asking me… to go along with her? I mean yes that is exactly what she said but… why?

"Are you surprised?" Amalia chuckled lightly. "That I asked for you to accompany me?"
"I wouldn't say it is something I expected, no." Tesarius didn't hesitate to reply, never taking his eyes off her. "Which makes me wonder, why the change of heart?"
"Just because?" Amalia shrugged, and Tesarius noted she was being a bit too nonchalant. "Just because none of your Concubines have ever done this, doesn't mean we aren't allowed to. I mean… so long as we don't have ulterior motives, what's the issue?"
