Throughout his way back to the Palace, Tesarius was in a daze. A million thoughts circled around in his head, curving different scenarios and telling different stories. But more than ever, it seemed like parts of it were trying to connect certain dotes.
Meanwhile Amalia walked beside him with a tiny smile, knowing exactly what she had done, and how things were playing out at the moment. The seed of doubt had been planted, now all she had to do was water it some more. but for that she'd take her time-
"Lady Amalia." Tesarius suddenly called, stopping the girl as she excused herself once the two had made it back into Tesarius's study safely, making her turn around in confusion. "Yes, Your Majesty?"
"When you said… that you were all pawns in a bigger game, what did you mean?"
