The market place was still not as crowded as it will be in the later time of the day, for Amalia had arrived early, sitting at a table as she sipped on her ale with the hood of her cloak pulled over her head. She stared at the passerby's with a monotone face, her eyes still trained on them when she felt the presence of a second person coming to sit across from her at the table, their hood pulled over as well.
"Greetings to you, Princess Amalia. It has been a while."
"So it has." Amalia replied, eyes still staring at the distance. The person went on. "His Majesty lost touch after our communication had been breached. Am I to assume our mission has been compromised?"
