Tesarius did not see Amalia sneaking into his garden. He had already been there, but when she got there, he could not tell. So when he took a turn around the corner and found her crouched figure sitting all alone on a rock, it took him by surprise, more so when he heard her sniffling.
"Lady Amalia?"
Amalia flinched, her face a mock surprise as she scanned her surroundings as if trying to look for the source of the voice, until she spotted him standing a few steps away. Then, her eyes went wide and she jumped to her feet, quickly turning away for a second to wipe her tears, but she made sure to take her time just to make sure Tesarius had seen her tear stained face.
And sure he did, as he approached her cautiously. "My Lady, are you alright?"
"Q-Quiet alright, thank you for asking." She stuttered, trying to avoid his gaze which only made him even more alert. "Lady Amalia, please look at me."
