"I can't believe we are actually returning, it has been nearly ten years or thirteen in your case." Angel said happily.
Dressed in a nice outfit that blended both magical and non magical fashion. Angel basically bounced on her feet as she led the way to the castle. Behind, Felix walked dressed in his elegant and form-fitting clothes, consisting of a beige dress shirt, slim black trousers, black dress boots, and black gloves with twin silver archer rings on the thumbs.
Around his neck piece is a white tie pinned at the throat by an amber gemstone. His left ear is adorned with a jeweled tassel earring. Over everything, he wears a long dark brown tailcoat with dragon scale patterns, gold and silver accents, golden tassels, and Rex Lapis' diamond symbol on the back.
It was the outfit he wore when picking his friends up when they graduated. He hasn't really changed his outfit since this outfit was heavily enchanted and among the nicest looking of his clothes. So while he has others, Angel says she prefers this outfit the most.
As he carried his suitcase in one hand that is deemed one of the most dangerous items in the world. For the amount of artifacts and his personal arsenal of all the weapons and items he made over the years.
His eyes looked up at the old castle and sigh as it had been a while since he last saw it. Then he turned to look at his friend John who wore a robe that looked similar to Leon's original idea. An outfit that was a mix between Severus and Assassin Creed look.
"So how did your date go?" Felix asked.
"It went well I think." John said.
"You had a date John?" Angel asked. "Is she nice and pretty?"
"I think so?" John scratched his head.
Felix wondered which one he was agreeing too, is she nice or pretty? So as they walked up the path to the castle, Felix did a quick divination and gave his friend a pitying look. She was neither as the woman while not cruel wasn't nice either and a slob who didn't bathe or took care of herself.
"Buddy, I think you might want to look for another." Felix said.
"Did you just use divination?" Angel frowned at him.
"It was just a light scrying." Felix scratched his head feeling wronged. "I was just a bit curious is all."
"That bad?" John asked.
"I won't say it's bad, but instead of a partner, you will probably be more of a nanny. You will probably end up taking care of the entire house on top of taking care of her, earning money and caring for the children if you had any." Felix replied.
"So she is not looking for a partner but more of a nanny." John held his chin. "I guess that's why I felt weird when she kept drifting in the conversation during our date."
"You will find someone, John." Angel patted his shoulder.
This conversation soon ended as they reached the gate. There Hagrid, still taller than two men and wider than three stood waiting as he smiled at them. His large hand waved at them as he opened the gate to let them through.
"It's so nice to see you three again." Hagrid said cheerfully.
"Nice to see you again, Hagrid. It's been a while." Felix smiled back.
"Felix, imagine my surprise when Dumbledore said you will be coming back as a professor. Many of the professors were surprised to hear you come back to teach in fact." Hagrid said. "Should have known that if you were coming, your two friends wouldn't be far behind."
"Hagrid, I am married to him now." Angel said, holding Felix's arm.
"Still friends aren't you?" Hagrid said.
Felix just smiled as they followed him up to the castle. Upon entering the grounds, Felix noticed that besides the exterior looking the same, the inside were not. The torches that lined and lit up the halls were still there as decoration, but his alchemy light crystal hung on the ceiling. In fact, as they moved through the halls, Felix noticed that a lot of his daily life trinkets were inside the castle.
"You really are amazing, Felix." Hagrid said. "You have brought a lot of changes to the wizarding world in recent years."
"Have I?" Felix looked at him.
"Didn't you know?" Hagrid looked confused.
"He's joking with you." Angel said.
Felix sent a glance at John who just shrugged not understanding it either. While he was quite famous and a well known scholar. Neither knew how much of an impact Felix's trinkets had on the wizarding world. For they sort of tuned out the news when it involved him as it was basically all over the place.
"Is that so?" Hagrid laughed. "Well, feel free to drop by my place after you finish your business. I would like to hear of your travels over the years."
"Sure thing, Hagrid." John nodded for them.
