Chapter 82 - Chapter 82 - How to Punish Students

In the evening of the day students will arrive, Felix and John were walking into the Great Hall. While Felix still wore his usual outfit, John wore a dark robe with the sleeves rolled up. The robe wasn't anything fancy, but had a bit more pattern then compared to Felix's school robes.

"It's kind of hard to believe we are back here." John said as he stepped into the Great Hall.

"We knew that someday we would be. After all, we did want to become Professors and Headmaster during our first year." Felix smiled.

"Yeah," John nodded. "Feels so long ago when we first met on the train."

"Can't be helped. We are closer to thirty than twenty at this point." Felix sighed. "At least we are doing better than Albus here."

"Indeed. It's been about a century since my first sight of this castle." Albus Dumbledore pulled his beard with a laugh.

Then as they traded greetings while taking seats before they heard hurried steps as Angel rushed in. Her hand on her forehead as Felix and John on reflex shifted their head towards the sky or ceiling in this case.

"Nice weather we are having, right John." Felix said.

"Indeed." John nodded reflexively.

Angel was angry at the board line, furious as she rushed into the Great Hall. Her kind smile was nowhere to be seen, the magic phone in her hand began to creak. Clearly what she was told wasn't great.

"What happened?" Dumbledore asked.

"My nephew, willing or unwilling, is currently flying here in a flying car that the invisibility isn't on or functioning." Angel growled. "They have been seen by about eleven muggles at this point."

"That's it?" Felix tilted his head.

"He is not you, Felix." Angel grumbled. "He can't obliviate an entire island in an instant because we accidentally awoke an ancient lava creature in Hawaii on vacation."

"How would I have known it would react to a branch of the Fairy Tree like that? It is about the only time I got to test out Chastiefol." Felix weakly defended himself. "Besides, if I remember, John also awoke the Kraken of Old at the bottom of the ocean. That caused quite the stir."

"Yeah, but most just think it was a sea storm." John pointed out.

"Then what about the Bloop, Chupacabra, Leviathan, Boitatá, or the Quetzalcōātl incident." Felix threw out a bunch more.

"Felix, most of those are yours." John muttered.

Felix paused before he nodded as that is true. He didn't really understand it either as he was careful and didn't try to disturb them.

"Is my charm so great that they can't help but come out?" Felix rubbed his chin.

"Isn't it more because you got lost and walked on them." John shot down Felix's good suggestion.

"As much as I would like to listen to these stories of your adventures over the years. Many which sound very interesting, let's get back on topic." Dumbledore said. "So who is currently with Harry and where are they currently?"

"From what Lily told me, it is a boy from the Weasley's and Nevile Longbottom." Angel replied. "By current estimation, they should arrive around the same time as the train."

"Why did they take a faulty flying car?" Felix asked after a thought.

"From investigation, a group of seventh years old men were charmed to lock up the entrance at King Cross. So the Weasley and Longbottom must have panicked and pulled Harry with them." Angel replied. "How much Harry actually resisted, I don't know."

"So what kind of punishment should we give them?" John tapped the table.

"I don't think giving them a normal detention will do much." Felix replied. "Last I knew, my school bullies didn't learn their lessons from them. Now a couple of them are in Azkaban fighting with others."

"Then what do you suggest?" Dumbledore said.

"We could use some assistants who can mark papers or make copies. Why don't we just have three be our assistants for half the school year. We won't give them points as it is a punishment." Felix suggested. "Maybe, under our watch they might learn something."

"That is basically a normal detention." John commented.

"How about they take over the caretaker job on weekends. Usually, most of the students make messes and leave it to the caretaker to clean. Maybe early exposure to working would do them good and how troublesome it is when others recklessly create trouble." Angel said.

"A bit similar to Felix's idea, but I guess it's the best we can do." John said.

"Now that this is taken care of. I heard my old physical trainer granddaughter is attending here." Felix said. "It was a bit surprising when I heard that his granddaughter was a witch."

"Oh, what's her name?" Dumbledore asked curiously.

"Hermione Granger."
