The group of six travelling together, inclusive of Selene, had not stopped since they left the Royal Pack and the Solstice ritual behind.
They had to make their way to the designated point where the rest of the formation would meet with them, and only then could they stop.
Selene, who had learnt to hold on steadily and tightly to a horse, was doing so as if her hand was glued to the horse's reins.
But she suddenly got a flash of headache and just as she began to get worried, they arrived at the designated point.

They stopped there, swinging their feet off their horses as they got down—all except Selene, whose horse was lowering himself so that she could come down carefully.
But then, just as she stood on the ground and reached out her hand to brush the horse, she felt a wave of lightness wash over her.
