"We have only nine days until the full moon and twelve until the Solistice," Zephyr reminded his Beta and Gamma as they walked out of Otsanna's place.
"What exactly are we going to do to help Selene grow into her potential?" Ralph asked with a shrug. "We have no rule book, and Otsanna says we need to wait until it's 'revealed' to her, whatever that means."
"Then we start with the regular training, just like any other pack member. I'll find out how her health is from Channe, and we can carry on from there," Zephyr said, as if it were the simplest thing in the world. Then his eyes turned to Zeeb. "You, of all people, should be happy. You get to spend more time with her."
Zeeb was not the only one who looked at him in shock; Ralph did the same.
"Communicate with the Chiefs and let me know. As Zeeb has said, no one who fails the test will make it for the Solstice. Age is no barrier. I'll see you both later."
