Selene stared down at the bowl of water and her eyes fell back at him. The Alpha's eyes held no expression, it was as usual simply just dark and devoid of emotions. She wanted to ask him if it was a joke, but she did not because she knew he was being serious.
He never joked.
"This is impossible," she finally spoke, shaking her head.
"Giving up before even trying. You have failed the task already," he said. "The problem is you won't leave here until you achieve this. We will only take a midday break for lunch."
Zeeb's mouth dropped open. He turned to Ralph to check his expression, and when he saw that Ralph's eyes showed shock, he gave him a good nudge.
"He is going to keep us here all day ." Zeeb said through gritted teeth and even though Ralph sais nothing, he agreed with his friend.
He knew this task, they all did and it was a tough one.
But they knew they couldn't say anything, not in front of Selene at least.
