Chapter 72 - Chapter 72 - The Gladiator-Style School of the Forest Vamzoms

Third person POV

Hearing that, Luiza, a tall demon with long, black and dark red hair and dark red eyes, was quite intrigued by this person with Otherworlder technology, wondering who that person might be. So, she said to the spies of hers, "I see then, go back and collect more info about this person."

"Yes, ma'am," one of her demon spies replied with obedience.

He and his fellow spies then left the court and returned to their duties.

At this point, Luiza felt that this person was a threat to her and started relying on the last stronghold of her control over the Vamzoms: the Desert Vamzoms.

Back in Mavimasu, Mont De Nèu, Basilio and his group are now enjoying their cups of hot cocoa at the ski resort's mess hall, while the talks between Lyam and Marcellus had just ended with the latter now considering letting go of Mavimasu and taking Lyam's offer of a forested region behind the Leeuwenhoek Mountains.

And so, the visit of Basilio and his group ended at 5:02 p.m., with them flying back to Nuevo Tacloban in their helicopters. Marcellus was very grateful for them and their alliance and friendship with them. Lyam and his entourage, meanwhile, returned to Ishidzu with positive reports of the negotiations with Marcellus and his nation.

A few days had passed since then, and summer was about to end in one month's time. Basilio was working in his office as usual when someone came knocking on his door. "Come in," Basilio said.

That academy didn't officially have a name of its own, but most Vamzoms called it the Alfonso Memorial Academy.

"Oh, hi there," Basilio looked at her, "you must be…?"

He doesn't know her name yet, so Azmiya said to him, "I'm Azmiya Ältere, the current headmaster of the Alfonso Memorial Academy here. And I am here to petition for changes on the curriculum of it."

Not noticing that school since taking office, Basilio replied, "Oh, I see. I didn't see that. Sure, I'll help with that. Can I see the school?"

 "Yes, of course, sir."

And so, both went to the officially unnamed academy down the street in the capital city's downtown area with Artem and another Vamzom soldier as their guards. At this point, the streets became a market for trade and commerce, and everyone in the country and society flocked to do some shopping and transactions. Along the way, Basilio and Azmiya were impressed by how lively the streets were in that area. Paulina and Ormoc are now back in action in the battlefields of Pantano's northeastern region against Vatrene's aggressive actions of selfish conquest.

A bit later, they had arrived at that academy, where the morning classes were still ongoing. The exterior was that of any fantasy royal academy, but the interior was a harmonious mix of fantasy academia and modern-style school interior. The school alarm of the end of classes was adopted from Japanese school ones. It seemed that, despite the isolation of the Vamzoms, they did adopt the alarm sound from Japanese Otherworlders a long time ago. Now strolling through the hallways of the school, Azmiya expressed her concerns on the curriculum because…
