Chapter 361 - 361: Spell Scrolls and Spellbooks

"Let's get back to business."

Ryen gently touched Ganyu's horns and spoke softly:

"This staff comes with specific spells, Ganyu, you need to memorize them well."

"Also, I should remind you—there's a bit of conflict between the two spells bound to this staff."

Ganyu nodded seriously and asked quietly:

"Frost Breath and Acid Rain?"

Ryen nodded.

"Acid Rain spreads across a large designated area, but as I've said before, Acid Rain can even hurt its caster."

"Especially since you're wearing the Troll Ring—Acid Rain adds a poison effect, which makes it dangerous for anyone."

"And Frost Breath requires close-range casting. If you've already released Acid Rain, it becomes very difficult to approach enemies for Frost Breath."

Beside them, Hu Tao blinked and giggled:

"Just like how my Spirit Soother's butterfly flames can burn the grass and set me on fire, or Lisa's Violet Arc hitting her if she casts it in water, right?"

Ryen nodded again.

"Exactly. But for Ganyu, it's not that much of a problem."

"Casting Acid Rain—though it's technically a lightning-element spell—is essentially creating rainfall."

"As the rain causes damage across a wide area, Ganyu can freeze enemies with her Frostflake Arrows."

"Continuous freezing, combined with ongoing poison corrosion damage, plus the elemental power boost from the Frostbearer Staff…"

"Ganyu's combat strength has already risen to a whole new level."

Everyone thought carefully after hearing this, and realized Ryen was right—Ganyu now truly possessed formidable power.

"It's just a pity this staff still has too many apprentice-level spells."

Ryen shook his head and said regretfully:

"If only Frost Breath were replaced with Frost Bomb, and Druid's Touch with Explosive Fireball, then it would be perfect."

"But that's fine too. These spells can actually be changed—so long as we find the right spellbooks."

Zhongli gently reminded:

"It's not such a loss. Ganyu still has plenty of bows with Enchanted Fire Arrows."

"Even if Acid Rain covers a 170-yard radius, making her Fire Dragon and Water Dragon unable to get close, Ganyu herself now commands three elemental powers."

"Ice, Fire, and Water—these three elements produce the strongest elemental reactions."

"If she uses them skillfully, Ganyu's current strength might rival, or even slay, a low-tier Archon."

"Don't forget, Ganyu is already an adeptus. Her mastery over Cryo has long surpassed many peak-level Visions."

This reminder brought joy to Ningguang's heart.

At present, Liyue—even without counting Venti and the Tsaritsa, those two top-tier Archon allies—

Xiao alone could be considered one Archon-level combat force.

The dragon flocks might not be able to kill an Archon, but in large enough numbers, they could hold one off—that made another.

Once Ganyu fully mastered her abilities, she too could be counted.

And Zhongli, of course, was worth at least five Archons—after all, his glorious record included overwhelming four mighty Archons in battle.

Counting him as five was hardly an exaggeration.

This was the combat strength of nine Archons.

If you included Mondstadt and Snezhnaya's alliance pact, that made it eleven Archon-level forces.

And with Lisa holding Ryen's staff, she could even kill a lesser Archon—she had to be counted as well.

Twelve Archons in total!

Celestia might have more Archon-class combatants than they did, but how many more could there really be?

Besides, when it came to the gods of Celestia, it was still unclear whether they listened to the Seven Archons or to the Heavenly Principles.

After all, they had originally been subjects of Zhongli and the other Archons.

And this wasn't even counting Ryen—an outlier who could grind the Heavenly Principles themselves into the dirt.

The situation was overwhelmingly favorable!

Ningguang, delighted, spoke up:

"After this, I will repair and set up an experimental base over at Mt. Aocang. Ganyu can go there to familiarize herself with her abilities."

"If anyone else experiences a breakthrough in their power, they can also head there to practice."

She thought for a moment, then clapped her hands.

"In for a penny, in for a pound!"

"We'll seal off Mt. Aocang using the materials of this world and station people there."

"Then we'll send some of this world's zombies and the stronger monsters inside!"

"As for hilichurls or Ruin Guards, they don't count as real training."

"And it's nearly impossible to gather them in large numbers anyway."

"The monsters from this world are better—they can be collected easily with mob farms and leads. What do you all think?"

Zhongli frowned, instinctively wanting to refuse.

But after considering carefully, he realized that with everyone's strength skyrocketing lately, they indeed needed a dedicated place to hone their combat ability.

If they used this world's materials for sealing, and he and the adepti added some protective seals, it was indeed feasible.

So Zhongli said no more.

"A training ground?!"

Childe's eyes lit up in surprise as he clapped his hands in excitement.

"I agree! I completely agree! Once we have power, we must sharpen our combat skills! Otherwise, we'll just end up like that druid mage—a hollow showpiece!"

"Those five spells of his combined could've caused us a lot of trouble."

"But that idiot—after activating Cloak of Mist, he just stood still to attack us."

"What a waste of ability!"

"I fully support building a training ground. When it's ready, I'll be the first one there!"

Ryen rolled his eyes and muttered:

"You just want to fight, that's all."

Tartaglia scratched his head and gave an awkward laugh.

"Well… battle is my greatest passion."

Ryen chuckled softly.

"If you want to go ahead with this, I can help. But it's best to keep things under control—don't let it spread everywhere."

"Last time, I tossed some zombies into the Akademiya, and one infected the Grand Sage. That guy's now living in utter misery… tsk tsk."

Ryen clicked his tongue in amusement.
