Chapter 51 - Through the Pain

Sera groaned, feeling her entire body aching. She felt her head heavy and the heat inside her body unbearable. The system's warning only made her feel even more uncomfortable. She hadn't felt this kind of pain for a long time, and she wondered how many had passed since the monsters' horde was freed, as she had already lost track of time. 

The Penitent Crows must be on their way to deal with her. She had sent Ignis to keep an eye on the borders and to inform her as soon as the crows arrived in Lysanthia. Based on the snippets she overheard from Alec and Lyria's conversation, the entire Lysanthia was on full alert, expecting retaliation from the church. 

However, knowing how sly the church was, they wouldn't try to punish her publicly. She wouldn't be surprised if they decided to take underhanded methods to deal with her. Either they lure her out of Lysanthia or forcibly take her away.
