Carlos also noticed Emily's presence and yet, he acted like she was invisible.
He gently stepped out of the car and walked towards the other side, just to open the door for Anna who still sat comfortably, probably because a person like Emily stood at the entrance and she did not want to step out.
"Carlos, she's there. Did you not see her?"
Carlos stretched his hands and she had to grab him. When Carlos felt her hands on his own, he softly squeezed it and pulled her out, gently then; said.
"Ignore her presence. Once she knows that we're back and we're ignoring her existence, she'd leave without anyone telling her to."
Anna sighed as she watched Carlos shut the door with a heavy bang.
The couple made their way to the front of the manor and there, Emily waited for them.
The moment Carlos reached four feet away from Emily, reflexively, he pushed Anna behind him in order to protect her from the wild energy that Emily carried around her.
