Anna felt empty all over again.
Empty, as in the time when Ezekiel had kidnapped her and told her the tale of the goddess of justice and how she would descend if she still sticks around Carlos.
'Should I go back to Trisha?'
She hesitated.
'No, he said he'll be back with answers and solutions to my ailment. I can't simply miss the chance of getting my health back to peak state all because of a mythical goddess of justice.
Anna sighed and she made her way up to the room.

The next morning * *
Anna tossed and turned on the bed. And finally, her eyes fluttered open, probably trying to adjust to the lighting in the room.
At first her thoughts were jumbled, almost empty. Not until she remembered that Carlos had promised to come back.
'Did he come back at all?'
'Have he left me?'
The first expression that appeared on her face read, fear, however, that emotion was quelled the moment she felt someone's hands that pulled her by the waist.
