Chapter 293 - Chapter 293: Moon Paralysis!

The two clashing beams of heat vision sputtered violently, fiery red sparks scattering. Lava scorched the lunar surface, carving a long, burning tunnel beneath the ground.

Bardi stood awe-inspiring. The turbulent energy in his body surged as another powerful blast of heat vision erupted from his vitreous eye with a bang, firing directly toward Zod's thick thermal beam.

Like a sharp blade, Bardi's focused blast slashed into Zod's broader heat vision. Zod's beam split apart like a blooming flower, continuously disrupted by Bardi's intense strike. The laser scattered and forked under the assault, spiraling and tilting. Each forked line of heat swept across the moon's surface, scorching black trails into the ground and shooting out into space before dissipating.

Boom…

Bardi advanced step by step. As Zod's beam weakened under the clash, Bardi's foot crashed into the moon's surface. A fissure nearly one-fifth the size of the moon cracked beneath him, and fragments of the lunar crust rose into the sky.

His rage was unmatched. Clad in white robes, a sinister smile on his face, he looked like a demon king walking proudly beneath the stars.

His gaze narrowed. His entire form became like a sharpened blade, piercing into the heart of Zod's retreating heat vision. He stomped Zod's enormous chest, driving him deep into the lunar crust.

"GRAHH!"

Zod let out a beastly roar of pain. His body crashed downward like a piledriver. His hardened skin cracked like porcelain. Blood streaked his torn muscle fibers, exposing deep crimson flesh. His bones shattered and were instantly reconstructed as his entire body was embedded in the moon's depths.

He was filled with extreme unwillingness.

As Krypton's military commander, he had failed to contain Bardi on Krypton, allowing Bardi to launch a revolution that plunged the entire planet into war. That failure was his disgrace.

In the end, his own friend Jor-El had trapped him in the Phantom Zone.

He had since come to understand Jor-El's plan, escaped the Phantom Zone, and led a group of criminals across the stars aboard a spacecraft, journeying through interstellar space.

But now, even after everything, he found himself completely overwhelmed. The moment battle began, he was suppressed. Not one of them could compare to Bardi, who had absorbed solar radiation for ten years.

The complete imbalance, the agony of being dominated in combat, was torture that shattered the pride of Krypton's once-highest-ranking general.

At that moment, Zod lost all reason. The madness, the urge to kill, overtook his entire will.

"ROAR!!"

In the depths of the moon, Zod's body transformed again, swelling to over four meters tall. Under Bardi's heavy blows, his form twisted further. Muscles wrapped around him like the roots of an ancient tree. His skin split open, oozing blood, then healed, with bone spurs bursting through. His internal genes restructured themselves hundreds of millions of times in an instant.

Doomsday was reborn.

Zod's consciousness was officially destroyed.

What remained was a true Doomsday, a creature of pure destruction, roaring with mindless rage as it charged Bardi head-on.

Bardi stared into the starry void, his posture majestic and unyielding, his expression cold, his laughter wild.

No one on Earth could make him exert his full strength. Even during intimacy, if he wasn't careful, he might snap Diana's waist. Let alone finding a worthy opponent. But now, his blood boiled with exhilaration from battle.

Doomsday's terrifying regeneration made Bardi grin madly, the corners of his mouth nearly splitting to his ears. He charged into a head-on clash with Doomsday.

Bang bang bang bang bang bang!

There was no sound in space. But in this moment, it felt like there should have been.

Bardi went wild, his body like a demon god's. He launched a barrage of fists into Doomsday's chest, unleashing blow after blow in the midst of Doomsday's furious roars.

Doomsday, like a tattered rag, reeled under the onslaught. The impact created wave after wave of force. His chest cavity was torn open repeatedly, granulation rapidly healing the wounds, only to be shattered again. Even his strongest bones were crushed and reconstructed, as he was sent flying through space, repeatedly pummeled.

Bardi drove him straight through the moon, blasting him from one side to the other.

At that moment, Doomsday finally managed to counter.

A massive strike landed on Bardi's chest.

Bardi was sent hurtling into the moon like a meteor. Nearly two-fifths of the lunar surface caved inward, forming a crescent.

"Ugh… AH!!"

Bardi rose from the crater, stretching his chest with pride. The pain stirred him, making him relish the moment. His bloodshot eyes gleamed with madness, and his smile stretched even wider.

It had been far too long since he had felt pain like this.

This pain awakened the savagery, cruelty, and ruthlessness buried deep within him. He grinned like a devil climbing from the abyss, glaring back at Doomsday.

Bardi and Doomsday continued exchanging devastating blows on the moon. Each impact unleashed massive energy.

They took turns driving each other into the moon, again and again. The already unstable moon now displayed massive canyon-sized fissures across its surface.

The moon resembled a gigantic bowling ball, pushed violently by Doomsday, and hurled straight at Bardi.

Bardi refused to retreat. He burst through the moon, pummeling Doomsday mercilessly. Fighting someone this mad, who had no consciousness and acted purely on instinct, was exhilarating.

Meanwhile, humanity on Earth was stunned.

"What's happening to the moon?!"

Someone screamed.

They saw the moon being battered, looking like a dog had taken a bite out of it.

Even more terrifyingly, the moon began spinning around Earth at speeds faster than satellites, faster than any known spacecraft.

The criminals and warriors fighting in orbit were shocked. A massive moon came crashing toward the battlefield, driven by Doomsday's roaring might.

Bardi and Doomsday's figures zipped across the battlefield, crashing through ships and terrain, causing catastrophic destruction. The chaos turned the entire battle into a spectacle of dread.

Eventually, the fractured moon could no longer endure.

BOOM…

This satellite, which had guarded Earth for countless centuries, with an average diameter of 3,475.8 kilometers—roughly one-fourteenth that of Earth—a volume of 22 billion cubic kilometers, and a mass of 735 billion tons, finally exploded in space.

It erupted in the starry sky, transforming into a blazing aurora point in the distance, incredibly dazzling.

The entire space battlefield fell silent.

All fighting ceased. Everyone watched in horror as the moon, once battered like a kicked ball, exploded into the deep space void, reduced to an aurora flash.

Hael stood stunned in the main war room of the Kryptonian spacecraft.

The moon had been destroyed like this.

Doomsday's massive body, like a meteor wrapped in flames, streaked past Hael's view.

Then came Bardi's crazed, grinning face as he passed Hael's field of vision, chasing after Doomsday.
