Michael's hold kept tightening, and Rose dug her nails into his grip to save her life; however, it did nothing to the maniac he had turned into now.
"Mi-Michael, leave her!" Frank reached on time, knowing well about his whereabouts. When it came to strength, Michael's built body with taut muscles was nothing less than that of a warrior's, but Frank had gone through combat training; he knew techniques.
Michael groaned and landed a blow right below Frank's cheek when he managed to secure Rose from his grip. Without minding the bruise a tad bit, Frank went after Rose, who was heaving for breath.
Michael was panting as well, with his eyes reflecting the bloodlust he was seeking currently. He gathered himself up and was about to leave the room when—
"You–You were going to kill Layla's mother, Charlotte Sanders," Rose mumbled without any mockery. In fact, she was concerned and sorrowful over the fact that Layla had gotten abducted.
