Layla woke with a start at the feeling of someone's presence nearby; she had slept on the cold floor after shedding tears filled with pain and disdain.
"..." A gasp left her throat at the sight of Razz crouched down to her level, looking at her with an intense gaze. He stretched his hands to touch her cheeks, and she backed away.
"Sunshine… don't make me hurt you," he threatened, and Layla hit her back against the wall; there was no way to defy his touch. She closed her eyes when he pinched her cheek playfully.
However, her eyes shot open when she felt his hands tracing her neck. Swatting his hand away, she was about to get up, but Razz pulled her leg, causing her to fall flat, face down.
"Don't even think about it," she heard him growl, his breath fanning against her nape. Feeling pathetic, she tried to remove herself from him when Razz placed his hand over her nape and pushed her down to the ground.
