Chapter 184: Humans Who Wish to Become Believers

Legendary King Ghidorah found itself in an incomprehensible situation, unable to process what was happening.

While Ghidorah was lost in confusion, Chang Wei was not. Instead, he seized the opportunity to show off. Holding the Lightning Spear in one hand, he extended the other.

Instantly, countless torrents of seawater surged toward his palm, coalescing into a mighty trident!

The sight stunned the human spectators. In their eyes, this was undoubtedly the mythical Trident of the Sea Emperor.

Compressing such a vast amount of seawater into a single weapon—just how dense and heavy was it? The sheer thought was unimaginable!

They were already in awe of the divine giant's overwhelming power, and this new display only deepened their astonishment.

Then, Chang Wei pointed his trident at Ghidorah. As he did, the ocean behind him suddenly roared to life.

Towering waves, over a thousand meters high, surged forward like an unstoppable tsunami, crashing down with devastating force.

Before such power, neither Legendary King Ghidorah nor Burning Godzilla stood a chance. They were utterly insignificant.

Ghidorah roared as it was mercilessly smashed into the ground by the tidal wave, its massive body shattering instantly. Burning Godzilla, though resistant to extreme water pressure, was still battered by the waves, tumbling hundreds of times before finally stabilizing itself.

Meanwhile, the seawater split around Chang Wei's form, as if encountering an immovable reef, allowing humanity to witness his actions clearly.

Defying fluid dynamics and gravity, the seawater formed into a colossal hand, which then relentlessly slapped down upon Ghidorah and Godzilla.

"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"

Each impact was akin to an earthquake, shaking the entire battlefield.

Legendary King Ghidorah barely managed to struggle before being smashed into a pulpy mess—Ghidorah paste!

Burning Godzilla let out an indignant roar, resisting with all its might. Each slap evaporated vast amounts of seawater due to its extreme heat, but there was simply too much water. Extinguishing this miniature sun was effortless.

"Short arms, do you yield?"

Chang Wei spoke in the language of Titan Beasts, addressing Godzilla.

"Screw off!"

Godzilla refused to submit, its defiance unwavering.

Chang Wei didn't push further. He wasn't killing Godzilla—after all, there was still an entertaining showdown between Godzilla and "Pretty Boy" to look forward to.

Upon arriving in the MonsterVerse, Chang Wei initially thought the G-Cells here were worth the journey alone. But after discovering that these weren't the G-Cells he had hoped for, he suddenly felt like the trip wasn't worth it. He began considering ways to recoup his losses.

Since he had no intention of anchoring this world—if he were to anchor one, it would be a realm with Final Godzilla—there was little value in staying here long-term.

Thus, manifesting as a god and slaying monsters became his way of making the most of the trip—a form of entertainment.

Since Godzilla refused to submit, Chang Wei didn't dwell on it. He grabbed Godzilla and pointed toward the ocean.

The sea immediately parted, recreating the biblical miracle of the parted waters.

"If you won't surrender, then I'll seal you in the ocean's abyss."

With that, Chang Wei hurled Godzilla into the depths. His trident followed, piercing through Godzilla and nailing it to the seabed. The parted waters then crashed back down, completely submerging Burning Godzilla.

"Even Godzilla has fallen!"

The humans watching were overcome with mixed emotions. Anxiety, uncertainty—what would this "god" do next? Would he demand worship? Establish a religion?

King Ghidorah and Godzilla, the two apex titans, had been effortlessly crushed in ways beyond human comprehension.

Some humans had even considered intervening in the battle to maintain balance between titans and divine beings. But before they could make a decision, the battle was over.

It had all happened too fast.

Others breathed a sigh of relief. Meddling in this fight would've been sheer suicide. No matter how united humanity was, they could never hope to challenge a being who commanded storms and thunder at will.

Especially that final scene—where the "god" used the ocean itself to overwhelm and defeat Ghidorah and Godzilla.

It was absolute, undeniable power.

"Why overthink it? Instead of worrying, we should consider this—whoever becomes the first High Priest of his faith will be the most powerful human on Earth."

This single remark sent shockwaves through the crowd.

Every insider immediately had the same thought.

This "god" seemed to lack followers.

If they were to pledge their faith now, wouldn't they become his first believers—akin to the founding disciples of a divine order?

Consider the historical precedent: Jesus' first disciples. Even though God never physically manifested, their influence was boundless. They held the power to appoint and depose kings, even launching holy wars against their enemies.

Even in modern times, when religion had declined, monotheistic faiths remained one of the most influential forces in the world.

And now, a true god had descended.

If one could gain his recognition and become his first High Priest, surpassing Saint Peter would be inevitable.

More importantly, this god was real and eternal—which meant that the power of the High Priest would never fade.

Not to mention, the world was still overrun by Titan Beasts. In this time of great catastrophe, people craved safety and guidance. A true god could offer them both spiritual solace and physical protection.

It was entirely possible that fanatical believers would emerge in droves, much like in ancient Europe.

After all, even in today's scientifically advanced world, there are still religious fanatics. How much more fervent would believers be in ancient times?

Humanity was complex, filled with contradictions, so this sort of fanaticism was only natural.

But Chang Wei had no interest in spreading faith or establishing a church.

He simply couldn't be bothered.

To him, playing the role of a god among mortals was far less entertaining than directly showcasing his divine power. Humans weren't nearly as fascinating as Titan Beasts.

So, after sealing Godzilla beneath the ocean, Chang Wei shrunk back to normal size.

As a final touch, he disabled all human satellites, effectively blinding them once more.

Then, he headed toward Skull Island!

There, he would find Pretty Boy—also known as Kong—a young, immature great ape.

Among the Titan Beasts, Pretty Boy was likely the most intelligent.

However, intelligence alone didn't determine who ruled over the monsters.

Chang Wei could never quite understand why Kong had the potential to become King of the Monsters.

In ancient times, Kong's species had even developed a technological system using energy crystals from the Hollow Earth to counter Titan Beasts.

In fact, they even slaughtered a member of Godzilla's species.

They had even turned its dorsal plates into a battle-axe.

For reference, "Godzilla" was merely the name of this particular individual. The entire species was known as atomic dinosaurs—just like the one called Dagon, whose remains had been discovered long ago.
