Chapter 182 - Chapter 183: One Against Two

Chapter 183: One Against Two

The members of the Monarch Organization were all in deep distress.

Damn it! What was behind that mural? Why did it have to be right when we were about to uncover the truth that a sudden geological event destroyed the entire cave?

"Could it be that what was behind the mural wasn't the alliance of God and Godzilla against Ghidorah, but instead a chaotic free-for-all battle?"

After all, the Titans were incredibly powerful, and Ghidorah didn't seem to stand a chance against them.

Meanwhile, Burning Godzilla was furious that Chang Wei had blocked its attack. Even worse, Chang Wei was now pointing the Lightning Spear directly at it.

"ROOOOAAARRR!!!"

The massive beast was enraged. You bastard, do you have any sense of loyalty? I'm trying to execute an outsider, and here you are, stopping me. Are you trying to make me lose face?

Since Chang Wei had absorbed the genes of Rodan and Godzilla, he could actually understand what Godzilla was saying.

"(*ˉ▽ ̄~) Tch~~"

Just one sound from Chang Wei was enough for Burning Godzilla to understand his meaning.

That was it—Big Guy couldn't hold back anymore.

"ROOOAAARRR!!!"

Burning Godzilla took a huge step forward and swung a massive paw at Chang Wei.

This version of Legendary Godzilla had a somewhat bear-like body structure. Though it still had relatively short arms, the sheer force behind its strikes was nothing to take lightly.

Chang Wei, however, merely swung his Lightning Spear lightly. The weapon, crackling with terrifying energy, effortlessly severed Burning Godzilla's short arm before piercing straight through its body.

"CRACKLE—BOOM!!!"

A massive surge of electricity instantly spread throughout Burning Godzilla's body, paralyzing it completely.

It watched in horror as Chang Wei casually formed another Lightning Spear and prepared to thrust it straight at its chest.

Burning Godzilla's eyes widened in shock. It quickly raised its remaining short arm to block the incoming spear, holding it back with all its might.

But the first spear was still embedded in its body, and the terrifying electrical discharge was interfering with its internal thermonuclear reaction. It couldn't unleash its Atomic Breath. Otherwise, at this range, it would have already blasted Chang Wei in the face.

Chang Wei didn't mind that his spear was being held back. Did this little short arm forget that I have another hand?

A powerful fist smashed into Burning Godzilla's face, sending scales flying as its skull deformed from the impact. The strike disrupted the inner structures responsible for its balance, causing the massive beast to stagger and collapse uncontrollably to the ground.

Chang Wei immediately stepped onto its back, raising his Lightning Spear high above his head, poised to strike.

At that moment, he looked just like Saint George slaying the dragon.

"The Titan has defeated both Ghidorah and Godzilla… But if he kills them, the explosion will destroy everything!"

The Monarch Organization members were in full panic mode. They had never expected the battle between Titans to end in such an overwhelming manner.

Even more puzzling was why, in ancient times, the Titan had not ruled the world. What had happened back then?

"What do we do? Should we try communicating with him and explain the situation?"

"There's no time! Besides, we don't even know if he can understand our language."

"All we can do now is pray to God… Oh wait, is he God?"

"That's impossible. The time of God's birth is far removed from the ancient era. It's like how Jesus lived during the late Western Han Dynasty in ancient China…"

The Titan was an enigma. Existing scientific theories simply couldn't explain it. After all, modern science was just an attempt to explain observable phenomena—it was not absolute truth.

Moreover, given how the Titan could directly affect satellites while the other Titans, including Ghidorah and Godzilla, remained completely oblivious to it, it was evident that the Titan was on a level far beyond them.

Burning Godzilla struggled violently. The King of the Monsters being pinned down like this was humiliating beyond words.

But no matter how much it struggled, Chang Wei's foot was like a mountain, unmoving. The ground around them had been torn apart, forming a massive crater from Godzilla's thrashing, yet Chang Wei remained firmly in place.

At that moment, Legendary Ghidorah suddenly began tearing into its own heads. Chang Wei turned his gaze toward it.

Finally figured out how to undo the bindings?

He wasn't surprised. Ghidorah was incredibly intelligent—perhaps even on par with humans. Those massive brains of theirs weren't just for show.

It was only a matter of time.

By biting through its own necks, Ghidorah severed them completely, causing the bindings to automatically come undone.

Legendary Ghidorah roared in fury as it rapidly regenerated its heads. Then, it unleashed its Gravity Beams at full power!

The monstrous dragon took to the skies, generating terrifying aerodynamic effects. A Category 6 hurricane formed instantly.

Chang Wei, however, remained unfazed. With a mere wave of his hand, the newly formed hurricane was completely neutralized—vanishing without a trace.

"Unbelievable! How did he do that? A Category 6 hurricane disappeared in an instant—does he have control over storms?"

The Monarch Organization felt like their minds were about to break. If this continued, their researchers would probably go insane.

How could a fully developed hurricane just disappear?

Some had once proposed the idea of neutralizing hurricanes by detonating nuclear bombs within their cores—an utterly foolish notion.

In reality, even a nuclear bomb was nothing compared to a hurricane's energy. Not just a Category 6 hurricane, but even a minor one contained energy millions of times greater than that of a nuclear explosion.

This was the power of nature. Humanity still had a long way to go before surpassing it.

Yet this Titan had simply waved its hand and dispersed a fully formed Category 6 hurricane!

What did this mean?

"No wonder our ancestors in ancient times revered him as a god!"

"So the legends were true… The power of the gods is truly beyond comprehension!"

"From a scientific standpoint, if he can control—or rather, command—such energy output, then what he's showing right now cannot be the limit of his abilities."

"If he can dispel a Category 6 hurricane, he might just be able to create an even more devastating one…"

The upper echelons of the Monarch Organization, along with the leaders of humanity, all felt utterly exhausted upon hearing the scientists' analysis.

Titans like Godzilla were already terrifying. Its Atomic Breath was powerful, but still within an acceptable range of destruction. In truth, the real devastation to humanity came not from Titans, but from natural disasters.

Compared to hurricanes, tsunamis, and earthquakes, even Godzilla's rampages were manageable in terms of economic damage.

But now, a being had appeared that could freely create and control hurricanes and lightning.

That was no longer just a Titan.

That was a true god.

Even Legendary Ghidorah was momentarily stunned. This technique, which had always worked in the past, had been effortlessly neutralized by Chang Wei.
