With each step he took, the Sword Energy surrounding Rojen grew ever sharper, soaring toward the heavens. The air twisted into visible vortices around him, and faint, cold breezes spread outward from his aura.

After three steps, a majestic, jet-black sword materialized across his back.

His spine straightened until it seemed to pierce the sky; his joints cracked and popped like bursting beans. In the next moment, he appeared several inches taller, his physical form transforming.

Strange and wondrous visions flashed through his mind, a torrent of complex information fused rapidly with his consciousness. Instantly, his temperament changed: he gave off an otherworldly, ascetic air, underscored by a keen, almost metallic sharpness.

Five steps in, his figure became elusive. With each stride, he seemed to teleport, or as if he had literally shrunk the ground beneath his feet, a single step spanning thirty meters.

"Ding. Congratulations, host possesses a cyan grade soul: Dugu Sword Saint!"

At that moment, the system's voice rang out in Rojen's head.

"The Dugu Sword Saint from Heroic Tales of the Immortal and the Sword?"

A faint, cold smile crossed Rojen's face, his gaze now unnervingly sharp.

This possession exceeded his expectations and was worth every single penny. In a flash, the Dugu Sword Saint's lifetime of learning and experience flooded into him, fusing with all his existing training.

The colorful memories and the arcane, intricate sword techniques, from Myriad Sword Secrets and Heavenly Sword to the Sword God and Wine God's Incantation, filled his mind in an instant, granting him immediate, perfect understanding.

Simultaneously, the True Energy inside him rapidly transformed, mutating into a magical true-origin power that streamed through his body like a raging river. It thundered through his meridians and finally converged at his dantian, forming a round, golden Origin Dan pulsing with mighty energy.

"One Golden Dan swallowed into my belly, my fate is mine, not Heaven's!"

"Is this the power of the Eastern Cultivation system?"

Since gaining the system, this was Rojen's first time possessing a strong character from that magical cultivation framework. Earlier possessions like Ge Nie and Bai Feng had been powerful, but compared to the sheer scale of the Pirate King world, they still felt somewhat limited.

This time was different. The Dugu Sword Saint, the 26th leader of the Mount Shu Sword Faction, the depth of the strength residing in him became perfectly clear. After all, the cultivation system was a form of biological self-evolution: breaking through the body's mysteries, transforming genes, and perfecting the mortal shell until formidable, external powers manifested.

"The power is incredibly strong!"

"But, "

Two steps later, even as the strength inside him continued to surge, Rojen's expression turned grim.

This particular possession produced a chilling sensation. It felt as if the power dangerously exceeded what his body could comfortably bear, it was difficult to control and constantly threatened to leak out. There was even a fear of a complete backlash, as though the spirit might overwhelm his sea of consciousness and seize control of his body.

"My own base strength cannot yet perfectly contain the possessed master's power!" Rojen realized, a vague sense of danger creeping through him.

If this power grew any stronger, his own consciousness might be permanently suppressed, allowing the Dugu Sword Saint to fully manifest.

"Fortunately, my bodily strength and his are mostly of one lineage; they connect fairly well."

After five breaths, the Dugu Sword Saint's power had completely fused with Rojen, and the earlier instability slowly smoothed out.

Still, that feeling stayed etched in Rojen's mind. Judging by this, summoning a truly god-level, overpowered being might well swallow his consciousness and create an unpredictable peril.

"No time to ponder that now."

He strode forward, crossing hundreds of meters in a blink to stand directly before the main Marine forces.

Each step was thirty meters, his figure flickered like true teleportation.

"Shrink The Land Into An Inch", an ancient immortal's unique skill, manifested through Rojen in a way that seemed profoundly mysterious.

"It's Rojen!"

"He actually dares attack our Marine base, is he courting death?"

"Seize him at once! What audacity!"

The Marines spotted Rojen immediately. Their eyes hardened, and a cold glint flashed across their faces.

As these Marines closed in, it was clear this force was not lacking in elite power. There were no less than five Vice Admirals among them, all now rushing forward to attack Rojen.

Rojen's eyes gleamed sharply. "So this is the power of the Mount Shu Sword Immortal, huh?"

A fierce Sword Intent erupted from his body. Slowly, he raised his right hand, his index and middle fingers pressed together, and pointed forward.

"Myriad Sword Secrets!"

A clear, metallic sword chant rang out, "Yin!", as a dazzling light burst forth.

Before Rojen's fingers, a circular sword array began to spin. Each tiny sword in the ring was no longer than an inch, yet exquisitely detailed, with glowing talismanic runes carved along the blades. At their tips, light pulsed and flickered as if capable of piercing the very void.

The Marines advanced rapidly and were now within fifty meters of him.

In that instant, Rojen thrust his sword fingers forward.

"Xiū xiū xiū xiū!"

A series of sharp, air-splitting sounds tore through the battlefield. The spinning sword ring suddenly flared and burst apart, transforming into dozens of glowing, azure longswords, each three feet long, soaring high into the sky.

The Marines froze, stunned, staring upward.

Above them, countless ethereal swords were swirling together in a colossal celestial formation, a vast glowing circle of radiant blades that hummed with endless sword chants.

"What… what is that?" someone muttered dumbly.

But before anyone could react, the sword formation trembled. The blades that had been hovering peacefully in the air suddenly rotated, their points turning downward toward the massed Marines.

"Everyone scatter!!" The five Vice Admirals felt their bodies lock under a crushing wave of Sword Intent. Their expressions changed instantly as they shouted in alarm.

But, it was already too late.

From the sword formation above, countless phantom cyan swords erupted like striking vipers, their edges gleaming with deadly light.

"Hōng hōng hōng hōng!"

The entire array collapsed into a furious rain of unstoppable Sword Energy, crashing violently into the densest part of the Marine ranks. The devastating energy shredded everything in its path, detonating on impact with a thunderous explosion.

The ground trembled. Dust and debris surged skyward. Screams filled the air.

It was like a focused missile bombardment, Sword Energy covering an area of nearly fifty meters. The relentless onslaught continued for a full five seconds before the massive formation finally dissipated.

When the smoke cleared, the surviving Marines inhaled sharply.

The entire area within the sword array's range was devastated, with mangled bodies, blood everywhere, and cries of agony echoing across the battlefield.

In a single, effortless strike, over a hundred Marines were gravely injured, completely losing their ability to fight.

And all of this had been caused by just one flick of that man's hand.
