I was astonished with her action, apparently I hadn't expected her to be so dedicated and determined. Obviously, Mallory really did want to see me.
I wondered if I should heed. I didn't feel comfortable with the idea.
Mallory detested me, why then all of a sudden after her punishment, she desired to see me?
I was befuddled, I didn't know what to do.
"Let's go in." Kira whispered to me. "They both can't be trusted."
Grabbing my arm, Kira made to get me inside but Olga promptly lurched forward, causing the guards to speedily block her way.
"I beg of you, Mistress Almira! My lady awaits you, please come see her, even for a few minutes." Her voice was in a desperate plea.
I curled my toes. I was troubled inside. As much as I didn't want to heed, I also didn't feel good ignoring these pleas.
My conscience was much guilt tripping me. Slowly I sighed, leaving Kira's grip.
"Is there anything wrong with Mallory?" I asked.
