Hiruzen Sarutobi and a group of ANBU stood on a rooftop, their faces grave as they watched the Nine-Tails rampaging through the village.
Just moments ago, the Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze had stood atop the Hokage Rock, using Flying Thunder God: Guiding Thunder to redirect a terrifying Tailed Beast Ball.
Now the Fourth was nowhere to be seen.
Behind Sarutobi, Rinjin watched with interest as the jutsu formula slowly faded from the Hokage Rock, clicking his tongue in amazement.
Minato's chakra reserves were truly terrifying!
Rinjin even suspected that Naruto's massive chakra came more from his father's inheritance than his mother's.
Flying Thunder God: Guiding Thunder was a derivative of the Flying Thunder God Technique.
Like the original Flying Thunder God, this space-time ninjutsu's chakra consumption wasn't based on an object's energy or mass.
Instead, the chakra consumed by the Flying Thunder God's spatial transfer had only one standard: volume.
The larger the volume, the more chakra consumed!
Because what was transferred wasn't the object itself, but the space the object occupied.
Having played with the Flying Thunder God Technique his whole life, Rinjin understood this all too well.
The Heavenly Transfer Technique moved objects or people directly, so it had strict requirements for durability.
The Flying Thunder God Technique was the opposite—it only transferred the space currently occupied by the target.
The space containing the transfer target bore much of the spatial transfer pressure.
To put it simply: imagine two circles on a piece of paper.
The Heavenly Transfer Technique would forcibly move the circle to another sheet.
The Flying Thunder God Technique would tear off the piece of paper with the circle and place it on another sheet.
This was why Rinjin could bring various people along when teleporting.
From this alone, Minato's total chakra reserves were quite terrifying.
Outside the village, Minato appeared and collapsed to the ground after nearly losing his second encounter with the masked man.
Just moments ago on the Hokage Rock, he'd clashed again with that mysterious masked figure.
The masked man had grabbed his wrist and nearly transported him away.
If not for all that crazy training he'd endured being dragged around by Teacher Rinjin, he might have fallen for it.
Struggling to his feet, Minato's eyes flashed as he rapidly analyzed the masked man's abilities.
At the same time, space twisted and distorted as the black-robed masked man reappeared not far in front of him.
Battle was about to erupt.
Meanwhile, inside the village, the fight between the ninja and the Nine-Tails had begun.
Atop the building, Hiruzen Sarutobi bit his thumb, blood flowing across his palm.
Boar-Dog-Rooster-Monkey-Sheep
"Summoning Technique!
Come forth! Monkey King Enma!"
The next second, white smoke exploded as an old monkey wearing a Konoha headband leaped out.
Facing his old partner, Sarutobi had no time for greetings and said gravely:
"Enma, transform into the Adamantine Staff!"
"Right!" The old monkey gave a low shout, then leaped high and somersaulted into a massive staff.
Sarutobi immediately caught the staff and aimed it at the distant Nine-Tails.
"Extend!" he commanded.
Instantly, the monkey-transformed Adamantine Staff stretched out, striking hard at the rampaging fox.
The powerful force sent the fox tumbling head over heels, sliding right out of the village.
Seeing this, Rinjin gasped, his eyes filled with envy as he stared at the Adamantine Staff.
What a treasure!
This thing was way more exciting than any toad!
That old geezer Sarutobi really had some good stuff!
Just as Rinjin muttered endlessly to himself, Sarutobi, sweating profusely while gripping the staff, suddenly roared:
"Rinjin! You brat, help out!"
Hearing this, Rinjin raised an eyebrow and casually set down the glass bottle he'd been carrying on his shoulder.
"How should I help?!"
"Restrain the Nine-Tails!" Sarutobi said urgently.
He and Enma could catch the Nine-Tails off guard, but he really couldn't handle a prolonged struggle.
Moreover, in just this short time, the ninja charging at the front had already suffered heavy casualties.
Facing the frantic Sarutobi, Rinjin nodded calmly.
This wave of Nine-Tails destruction was already enough for Konoha—he couldn't let the property damage insurance be completely harvested in one go!
After all, there was still that Nagato kid next time~
Slightly bending his knees, he pushed off with force.
The next second, the ground shattered as Rinjin shot skyward like a dark blue cannonball, charging straight at the Nine-Tails outside the village.
"Ninja Art: Rooftop Collapse Technique!"
A great shout echoed through the night sky.
The hundred-meter-tall Rinjin instantly filled the entire sky.
Then, accompanied by a massive roar, the earth shook and heaven and earth trembled.
Next, Sarutobi and the ANBU behind him gasped as they looked toward the village outskirts.
The over-hundred-meter Rinjin had sat right on the Nine-Tails' back, mercilessly pinning it to the ground.
"Little fox, did you drop a golden butt, a silver butt, or Uncle Rinjin's big butt?"
Pressing down hard on the Nine-Tails and letting it struggle, Rinjin grinned wickedly as he grabbed its ears.
Seeing this, the Nine-Tails with its spinning three-tomoe eyes began struggling violently.
However, even standing, it was only about seventy meters tall—still like a little brother with no threat compared to Rinjin.
Most importantly, Rinjin's butt wasn't just any ordinary butt.
Having dealt with monsters using his rear for years, he didn't even need his hands to pin the Nine-Tails down completely.
In the village, the surprise on Sarutobi's face gradually faded, replaced by enormous speechlessness.
Covering his forehead and sighing, the old man shook his head like he'd seen a ghost, picked up the glass bottle and shouldered it, then nimbly jumped down from the rooftop.
At times like this, he deeply appreciated just how good Rinjin was.
Meanwhile, outside the village, a sudden change occurred.
The completely suppressed Nine-Tails suddenly roared frantically, and in front of its open mouth, dark blue and deep purple chakra gathered wildly.
A Tailed Beast Ball radiating terrifying energy aimed toward Konoha.
"The chakra condensation speed is really damn fast!"
Saying this, Rinjin suddenly reached out his giant right hand and grabbed the Tailed Beast Ball like a bowling ball.
"Come on~
Uncle Rinjin will give you an HS test!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the pitch-black Tailed Beast Ball along with Rinjin's right hand was stuffed into the Nine-Tails' mouth, instantly penetrating deep into the fox's throat through its open maw.
Meanwhile, his massive left hand came down, firmly pressing the Nine-Tails' mouth shut.
At this moment, the panicked fleeing crowd stopped in their tracks, staring stupidly toward the village outskirts, unconsciously drooling.
Inside Konoha Village, Uchiha Fugaku, who was arranging for villagers to take shelter, stared up blankly at his teacher's ridiculous antics, his expression twisted between tears and laughter.
Teacher! Please act like a human being!
Can't you see the Nine-Tails' front teeth have chipped off?
Please, just take the fox away and torment it elsewhere—I can barely hold back my laughter!
