Dear Diary,
Okay, I don't even know how to describe today except... fluffy clouds, balloons, way too much sugar, and my cheeks STILL hurt from smiling.
Yup — it was the BABY SHOWER!!
The whole garden area behind our dorm was transformed into this soft dreamland with pale yellows, whites, and sparkly silver everything. There were floating paper lanterns, golden moons hanging from tree branches, and pastel decorations that made it feel like the stars had come down just for us.
Hye-jin and Seul-gi were basically party-planning fairies. I don't know how they pulled it off, but it was like something out of a fairytale.
And the best part?
No one knows the baby's gender yet.
Yup. TOTAL MYSTERY. Which made the guessing game part of the shower hilarious.
There was this huge board that said:
> "BOY or GIRL?
Cast your vote! Winner gets eternal bragging rights."
Let's just say… it got competitive.
Na-ra went full detective mode with "symptom analysis," Dae-hyun said he "had a dream and it was totally a boy," and Min-seo? She made a glittery blue-pink badge and said, "Twins. I'm manifesting chaos."
We played all the baby shower games:
1. Baby Bottle Chugging Contest
(Watching Min-jun try to drink juice out of a tiny baby bottle? PRICELESS.)
2. The "Don't Say Baby" Game
Everyone had pins on. If someone said "baby," you got to steal theirs. Seul-gi hoarded like… eight. She's scary good.
3. Diaper Decorating Station
Everyone wrote funny quotes on diapers for late-night changes.
One of Dae-hyun's said:
> "Min-jun, you got this. But maybe hold your breath."
Speaking of Min-jun, he was literally glowing all day. He kept glancing at me with this soft look and whispered, "I can't believe we're really doing this."
Then he kissed my forehead and handed me another cupcake.
I think he ate five.
And then... came the gifts. OH. MY. GOODNESS.
So many tiny socks, baby blankets, onesies with funny phrases like "future heartbreaker" and "daddy's little sidekick"... it made my eyes go misty.
After everyone left, it was just us. Me, Min-jun, and twinkly fairy lights. He wrapped his arms around me from behind, resting his hands on my belly.
"You think the baby had fun?" I asked.
"They were probably dancing in there," he said with a smile.
Honestly? Probably.
