The Walker family has two signature Pokémon: one was a silver-white Metagross, and the other was an Aggron. Whether it was Julian's grandfather, his father, or the Walker family ancestors, they all possessed these two Pokémon.
Metagross specialized in offense, while Aggron focused on defense.
Julian's dedication to his Aggron was second only to his Metagross, and he had trained it to be his strongest shield.
Its strength was certainly not to be underestimated—it was absolutely capable of battling opponents above its level.
However, the opponent it had just defeated was Victor's Peak Pseudo-Champion level Kommo-o. That Pokémon was also exceptionally talented and had undoubtedly defeated many opponents higher-level than itself.
After the battle, Julian looked at the several trainers who had come to watch the match.
All of them were ranked within the top thirty on the Elite rankings, and Julian was well aware of Victor's purpose in challenging him.
He looked at the dozen or so trainers and said: "Seniors, would you like to spar with me as well?"
"Commander, you must be joking. Even Elite Victor is no match for you, let alone us," one of the trainers said with a laugh.
After all, Victor was ranked second on the Elite rankings. Since even he had lost, challenging Julian would only be humiliating for them.
Moreover, Julian also possessed a Moltres—a Legendary Pokémon—whose level was even higher than Aggron's.
"In that case," Julian continued, "I hope that when I assign certain tasks in the future, you will carry them out diligently. Let me be clear upfront—if anyone feigns compliance while secretly defying orders, don't blame me for not being polite."
There were always people who relied on their seniority, boasting about their past contributions to the nation, and thinking they could bully Julian because he was young.
"Trainers are professionals who let their strength do the talking, do not get your priorities backwards."
With that, Julian turned and left.
He left behind a dozen trainers staring at each other in confusion. Most of them hadn't come to cause trouble for Julian—they were merely invited by Victor to watch his battle with Julian.
Most of them had understood what Victor had been trying to convey but they just felt that he had underestimated their emotional intelligence.
Just as Julian had said, trainers were professionals where strength was paramount. Age and experience were not what mattered most—strength was the key factor.
However, there were still a few dissatisfied with Julian, feeling that this young man had no right to rank above them just because he was the Champion.
"Hmph, Champion Walker's grandson really is full of himself," muttered one elderly trainer, his expression slightly displeased.
As soon as he finished speaking, several of his companions immediately distanced themselves from him.
If this old fool wanted to dig his own grave, he shouldn't drag them down with him.
For someone his age, he really should have learned to be wiser by now.
Victor also overheard his remark, but he said nothing. After all, he had done what he needed to do. If anyone still insisted on bringing about their own downfall, Julian wouldn't even need to lift a finger, Jake would take care of it for him.
Though Jake preferred to take it easy, he was still very invested in matters concerning his son. If anyone dared to cause trouble for Julian, he would not hesitate to crush them without mercy.
Since the new department had just been established, there were indeed quite a lot of things to take care of. Most of them Julian handed over to his secretary, Ella, to handle.
After all, Ella was a professional in this regard, and there was a good reason she had stood out among so many candidates.
After informing Ella, Julian left.
With four consecutive uses of Metagross's Teleport, Julian traveled from the Imperial Capital to Luminara City, the largest city in the southwest of Drakoria.
Ever since Metagross had reached Champion-tier, the distance it could cover with each Teleport had significantly increased.
From the southernmost tip of Drakoria to the northernmost, Metagross only needed to use Teleport ten times.
However, the human body, even that of a fitness enthusiast or martial arts master, no matter how well-trained, could not withstand the tearing sensation caused by Teleport.
Therefore, when a Pokémon used Teleport to bring a trainer along, it had to use its own psychic energy to envelop the trainer. This greatly consumed the Pokémon's energy and reduced the distance of the Teleport.
Even then, the trainer would experience an intense wave of dizziness after teleportation, often vomiting uncontrollably as if their stomach was turning inside out.
Thanks to his "Mega Pallet Town physique," Julian did not require Metagross to provide extra protection during Teleport.
Because of this, if he wished, Julian could serve as Drakoria's emergency responder, capable of supporting any region of the country in an extremely short time.
Luminara City, a city known as the "Capital of Pokémon Breeders."
Most of the Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and even Top-tier secret realms in this city were rich in Berries, which were essential for various Pokémon.
And Berries were the most critical material for making Pokéblocks.
This resulted in the city producing a large number of breeders.
Nearly half of Drakoria's Advanced-level Pokémon Breeders came from Luminara City.
The breeder culture here was incredibly vibrant, with almost every industry revolving around supporting Pokémon Breeders.
In this city, Breeders were the mainstream, and Trainers had to take a backseat.
Luminara City was home to three major Pokémon Breeder families:
Turner, Sommerset, and Penn.
Each of these three families had a Top-tier breeder holding down the fort.
Currently, Drakoria had only five Top-tier Breeders but seven Champion-tier Trainers.
In terms of rarity, Top-tier Breeders were even scarcer than Champions.
The existence of these five Top-tier Breeders ensured the well-being of the Pokémon belonging to the six Champions. Therefore, even the Champions treated with respect.
After all, if they angered a Top-tier breeder and that person decided to quit, their Pokémon would no longer receive the highest-quality care.
Julian's Pokémon however, didn't require their care—the Pokéblocks provided by the system were already the best food possible.
Publicly, Julian had also claimed to be a Top-tier Breeder himself.
This made Julian's "monstrous talent" level up to "monstrous +1."
Julian's mother, Tina, was from the Turner family.
This time, he had come to visit his maternal grandparents. Ever since enrolling at the Imperial University, he hadn't actually visited them even once.
If his uncle hadn't called him yesterday to say that his grandmother wasn't feeling well and asked him to visit, Julian wouldn't have realized that four whole years had passed since he last saw them.
Feeling deeply guilty, he immediately set out for Luminara City today. He didn't even bother taking a leisurely plane ride—instead, he teleported directly there with Metagross.
As for his maternal grandmother's health, Julian wasn't too worried. He had plenty of system points saved up, and unless it was an emergency like his grandmother's previous situation, any illness was a minor issue in his eyes.
Following his memory, he arrived at the location where his grandparents' family estate should have been—and then he froze.
Had he remembered incorrectly? Wasn't this supposed to be the Turner family Manor?
Staring at the vast field of golden wheat swaying in the wind before him, Julian fell into deep confusion.
Without hesitation, he called his uncle.
"We moved," his uncle explained. "We responded to the national call to return farmland to cultivation."
