They really moved? Julian was a bit dumbfounded. The Turner family's massive estate was just… gone, and now the land was being used to grow crops.
It wasn't that growing crops was a bad thing—it was just that, given Luminara City's land prices, using such a large plot for farming seemed somewhat wasteful.
What Julian didn't know was that the plants below, which looked like ordinary crops, weren't actually crops at all. They were a new type of Pokémon food recently developed by the Turner family.
As for the move, it was simply because the Turner family had grown too large for their old estate. So they decided to relocate, and the original property was bulldozed to make way for their latest research project: cultivating this new Pokémon food.
That was why Julian was now witnessing this scene.
Before long, his uncle sent over the new address of the Turner family estate. It wasn't too far—about thirty kilometers from Julian's current location.
With one Teleport from Metagross, Julian arrived at the Turner family's new estate.
Compared to the estate in his memories, this new one was indeed much larger. At a glance, Julian could see vast orchards of Berries.
The Turner family was a linage of Pokémon breeders, so Berries were, of course, indispensable.
They were also one of the largest Berry producers in Drakoria and were actively involved in researching and improving Berries.
Julian's sudden appearance above the Turner family estate immediately caught the attention of the guardian Pokémon stationed there.
Several Peak pseudo-Elite Houndooms below began barking frantically at Julian and Metagross hovering mid-air, while security personnel rushed over quickly.
These Houndooms had been trained well, although Julian was a stranger who had suddenly intruded, they noticed that he wasn't making any further moves or acting suspiciously, so they didn't attack immediately. Instead, they used their furious howls to alert the security team.
Metagross landed and simply glanced at the Houndooms—in an instant, they fell silent, tails tucked between their legs, trembling like leaves.
"Don't move! Who are you?!"
By now, the estate's security personnel had arrived. Seeing the terrified Houndooms, they immediately went on high alert.
It took more than just an ordinary Elite-level Pokémon to frighten Peak pseudo-Elite Houndooms like this.
"You don't recognize me?"
Julian pointed at himself, feeling a bit incredulous.
Lately, he'd been a trending topic. If you scrolled through TikTok, three out of every ten videos were about him.
It wasn't that Julian was bragging, but at this point there was almost no one in Drakoria who didn't know him.
"I don't care who yo—wait, Champion Walker?!"
The security personnel were just about to snap back at Julian, but after taking a closer look, damn, they were almost as scared as the Houndooms.
Wasn't this the newly crowned Champion, Julian Walker? They had seen him on their feeds so many times in recent days that they were nearly sick of it.
"Captain Luke, you finally recognized me," Julian said with a smile, looking at the security captain.
This security captain was an Elite-level trainer, and if he were to take a job outside, his annual income would easily start atleast at tens of millions.
The five team members behind him were all pseudo-Elite trainers as well.
And the entire estate wasn't just protected by their team alone.
Since the Turner family was a clan of Pokémon breeders, most family members were breeders themselves. Even if they had Pokémon at the Elite tier, most weren't particularly skilled in battle.
And breeder clans all had their own exclusive Pokéblock recipes.
Therefore, the security measures of breeder families were far stricter than those of most other aristocratic families.
In contrast, families like the Drakes or Willows, where most members were trainers themselves, required much less security.
"Champion Walker, I didn't expect you to still remember me," said Captain Luke, his expression filled with excitement.
Although he was an Elite, having a Champion remember his name was definitely something to be proud of.
He could already see the envious looks from the other security personnel around him.
Who was Julian? He was the youngest Champion not only in Drakoria, but in the entire world—a figure with limitless future potential.
"Kid, how did you get here so fast?"
At this moment, Julian's eldest uncle, Logan Turner, came striding over.
Julian had three uncles: Logan, Daniel, and Miles. His mother, Tina, was the youngest daughter and naturally the most cherished in the entire Turner family.
Logan was the current head of the Turner family.
Daniel was now the dean of the Trainer Academy at Imperial University.
And Miles had inherited their father's legacy and become a breeder, though he was currently only an Advanced-level breeder. Whether he could become a Top-tier breeder in the future would depend on his ability and luck.
"I had Metagross use Teleport to bring me here," Julian explained.
Logan was taken aback, then asked with an odd expression, "You didn't throw up?"
"Nope, youth and good health," Julian replied casually.
Logan's face darkened. The intense dizziness brought by Teleport wasn't something that could be offset by the so-called "youth and good health."
But Logan didn't press further.
They were all shrewd people. Among Drakoria's major families, everyone knew that Julian's rise to Champion at such a young age wasn't just due to his monstrous talent—there had to be other undisclosed secrets.
After all, his achievements were far too exaggerated, almost beyond human capability.
"Uncle, is Grandma okay?" Julian quickly asked.
At this, Logan showed an awkward expression.
"Your grandmother is fine."
"Fine?!" Julian's voice rose slightly.
"What, were you hoping for something to happen to this old lady?"
Just then, a dissatisfied voice came from behind Logan.
Logan quickly moved a few steps to the left, and once his burly figure stepped away, a petite but energetic elderly woman appeared.
However, this old lady was now looking at Julian with a mix of displeasure and affection.
Sensing his grandmother's dissatisfaction at him for not coming to see her for so long, Julian quickly put on a smile, walked over to her side, gently held her hand, and said with a hint of whining: "Grandma, how could I think that? It's just that Uncle said you weren't feeling well."
"I even had Metagross use Teleport the whole way here to rush over—it nearly made me throw up to death!"
Acting cute and playing the victim to an elder was definitely the surest way to gain their forgiveness.
Even though acting cute was a bit out of character for Julian's age, as long as it worked, that was all that mattered.
Sure enough, as soon as the old lady heard Julian's words, especially the part about him using Teleport to rush over, she immediately smacked Logan's arm in anger.
"You rascal! Look how you scared my grandson! If anything had happened to him from all that teleporting, I'd have beaten you to death!"
Logan hurriedly admitted his mistake, though the look he shot his nephew was less than friendly.
Just moments ago, this kid had claimed he was young and healthy enough to handle the dizziness from Teleport, and now he was saying it nearly made him vomit to death.
And with that rosy complexion of his, Logan would believe it if Julian said he could eat ten cows a day.
Julian: 'Ten cows? Can't manage that—but if I really let loose, half a cow is doable. The other half can go to Celebi…'
