The Hydro Pump and Hammer Arm clashed for several seconds before the Hydro Pump ultimately overpowered the Hammer Arm, slamming violently into Groudon's body.
The force of the Hydro Pump was far beyond that of the previous Surf—its sheer power was enough to pierce through a mountain thousands of meter high.
Under the relentless assault of the Hydro Pump, Groudon was forced backward yet again, retreating nearly another kilometer before it finally managed to stop, bracing itself with both hands against the surging water.
At the same time, it opened its mouth and released a brilliant white light—
Solar Beam!
By now, the Hydro Pump's power had weakened considerably, and after a brief struggle against the Solar Beam, it was completely overwhelmed.
The remaining Solar Beam, however, was easily deflected by Kyogre.
Looking at the battered and disheveled Groudon, Kyogre felt deeply satisfied. Being able to overpower Groudon so completely—it was exhilarating.
With Julian providing that powerful buff, Kyogre even felt that if that giant green caterpie showed up now, it might be able to trade a few blows with it too.
Having its attacks overpowered twice in a row by Kyogre, Groudon now had to admit that the big-headed fish had genuinely grown stronger.
But the extent of this improvement was baffling. It had only been a few hundred years since they last met—how could Kyogre already suppress it so thoroughly?
"Big-head, how did you get so much stronger?" Groudon asked, unable to hide its confusion.
"Want to know? I'm not telling."
Of course, Kyogre wouldn't reveal the secret—it was far more fun to watch Groudon fume.
"If you admit defeat right now and shout, 'I'm no match for Lord Kyogre,' I'll spare you," Kyogre sneered.
Julian felt Kyogre was getting a bit too cocky now. Saying things like that… it clearly didn't fear provoking Groudon into going berserk.
Upon hearing those words, Groudon nearly unleashed a Precipice Blades right then and there, but it managed to hold back. Instead, it let out a cold laugh. "Do you really think you've got me cornered?"
"What, you still have something up your sleeve?"
"Of course I do."
Groudon's lips curled into a confident grin. The next moment, Julian felt a sudden tug—the Red Orb in his bag flew out on its own.
When Kyogre saw the Red Orb, its expression changed instantly. It looked at Julian in shock. "Why do you have that thing on you?"
"Uh… I got it from someone else," Julian replied.
Hearing that, Kyogre immediately understood why Groudon had suddenly awakened.
Watching the Red Orb fly toward Groudon, Kyogre's expression turned grim. "This is bad! It's about to undergo Primal Reversion!"
The Red Orb wasn't just an item used to summon Groudon—it was also the key to triggering its Primal Reversion.
Of course, the same was true for the Blue Orb.
But Kyogre had no idea where its Blue Orb was, so it couldn't enter its Primal Reversion state at all.
"Metagross!"
Julian also realized that things were taking a turn for the bad.
If Groudon really entered its Primal Reversion state, even a buffed up Kyogre might not be able to defeat it.
"Too late!" Groudon sneered.
In an instant, the Red Orb vanished from its original position and reappeared on Groudon's forehead. Then, it sank into its body and disappeared completely.
"This is bad," Kyogre's expression darkened.
As the Red Orb fused with Groudon, it instantly triggered its Primal Reversion.
In its primal form, Groudon's body became even larger than before, its skin seams glowing with molten orange light, like flowing lava.
The aura radiating from it was suffocatingly powerful.
Molten magma surged up from the seafloor, expanding the landmass it had created and making it even sturdier.
In truth, Primal Reversion was Groudon's true form. In this state, it was the genuine god of the land—the being capable of creating continents.
"ROOOOAR!!"
The return of its full power made Groudon let out a sky-shaking roar. The clouds scattered at the sound, and the endless shockwave of its voice spread in all directions.
It was as if Groudon was announcing to the world that the King of the Land had returned.
Witnessing Groudon enter a state similar to Mega Evolution, people across the nations were stunned.
---
> Are you kidding me? Even a First-class Legendary can Mega Evolve now?!
> This form looks terrifyingly strong!
> What do we do? Can King Julian really handle it?
> Don't worry, everyone—my husband will definitely defeat it!
> Any Pokémon scholars here? What form is Groudon in right now?
> I've seen this form depicted on ancient stone tablets—it's called the Primal Reversion form! Kyogre should have one too!
> So Kyogre has it as well? Then we're fine!
> But what if Kyogre can't activate it? Groudon needed that Red Orb, which came from Champion Walker's own bag!
---
Everyone fell silent for a moment. So Groudon had only been able to activate this form because of Julian.
Julian had basically armed his enemy.
The Red Orb couldn't be stored in his system space, so Julian had simply kept it in his backpack—he never imagined it would end up causing such a disaster.

As expected, Groudon's level had risen from 105 to 106 after undergoing Primal Reversion. For a First-class Legendary, even a single level increase meant a massive boost in power.
With this, the strength advantage Kyogre had gained from Julian's buff was completely gone.
"Big-head, come on!"
Empowered by its primal form, Groudon roared with renewed confidence. The golden patterns across its body flared brightly, and moments later, it spewed out a blazing torrent of fire.
Eruption!
Compared to its previous Eruption, this one was far more powerful in both force and scale.
"Hmph, you think I'm afraid of you?" Kyogre snorted coldly.
Though its advantage was gone, it wasn't truly at a disadvantage either. More importantly, they were still over the ocean—this was Kyogre's home turf.
Even if Groudon had created a patch of land in the middle of the sea, that didn't make it real land—it provided no actual boost to Groudon's power. Its only purpose was to give Groudon something solid to stand on.
Otherwise, without that bit of land—since Groudon couldn't fly—it would have immediately sunk beneath the waves, leaving only a few bubbles rising to the surface.
That would have been a comical sight.
Water Spout!
Eruption and Water Spout collided once again.
But this time, they were evenly matched. In its Primal form, Groudon's power was now equal to—or perhaps even slightly greater than—that of the buffed Kyogre.
In fact, considering they were fighting on the ocean, Kyogre should have had the advantage. Yet in this clash, it couldn't gain any ground at all. That alone made it clear who was now the stronger of the two.
