Chapter 652 - Chapter 869: Legendary Senior

"Teacher Mary, I can see it now. You and this wretched girl are in cahoots. My son got beaten to such a state by her!"

"I'm telling you, this matter won't be over unless you pay one million!"

The woman stood with her hands on her hips, her wrinkled face twisted in anger, making her look somewhat frightening. Haley, who was being shielded behind Mary, said with disgust, "No wonder your son is so ugly. How could a son born from a mother like you be anything but ugly?"

For women, nothing hurt more than insults about their looks and figure.

Being called ugly by Haley was like a cat having her tail stepped on—the woman instantly exploded, shrieking, "You little brat, what did you just say?"

"Just looking at you, I can tell you were born but not properly raised."

"Look at you—your parents haven't even shown up till now. Don't tell me you're an orphan?"

Although Haley didn't have a good relationship with her parents, she still wouldn't allow anyone to insult them. So, she stepped up to the woman.

"What, you want to hit me now?"

Slap!

Under the woman's stunned gaze, Haley slapped her hard across the face. The blow was strong enough to leave her dazed on the ground, momentarily unsure what had just happened.

After a while, the woman finally came to her senses, struggling to get up, then turned to the man behind her and shouted, "Are you even a man? Your wife and son both got hit, and you're just standing there doing nothing?"

Only then did the man finally react, taking heavy steps toward Haley. He was so fat that his flesh jiggled with each movement.

"What do you think you're doing?"

Teacher Mary rushed to block him, but she was no match—he shoved her aside effortlessly.

"You dare hit my wife and son? Today I'll teach you a lesson you won't forget!"

The man reached Haley, grinning viciously, and raised his hand to slap her. If that slap landed, Haley's delicate face would likely be bruised.

But just as he was about to swing, a hand suddenly grabbed his wrist. A crushing force clamped down, making him scream like a slaughtered pig.

"Ahhhhh! Let go! Let me go!!"

Julian stared coldly at the fat man, then released his wrist and kicked him hard in the stomach. With a loud thud, the man flew out of the office, rolling across the floor.

"Brother Julian!"

Seeing Julian arrive, Haley's face immediately lit up. Grabbing his hand, she said with lingering fear, "Good thing you came in time. Otherwise, I'd definitely have been hurt today."

"Are you okay?" Julian asked.

Haley nodded.

"Teacher Mary, what about you? Are you hurt?"

At this moment, Teacher Mary was still in shock, staring at Julian who had suddenly appeared.

So the call Haley made with her phone just now was actually to Julian? Was Julian Haley's brother? Maybe an older cousin?

No wonder the voice of Haley's brother on the phone sounded somewhat familiar—it really was Julian.

Suddenly recalling that she had just asked Haley if her brother was an Elite trainer made Teacher Mary blush slightly.

Julian, of course, remembered Teacher Mary, who had taught him Pokémon characteristics in his first year of high school.

He just never expected that she would also become Haley's teacher, and even her homeroom teacher at that.

It really was quite a coincidence.

"I'm fine. Julian, you're Haley's brother?"

"Yeah. Her mother and my mother are best friends," Julian explained.

Teacher Mary nodded in sudden understanding.

"What happened here?" Julian asked, turning to Haley.

Haley then explained the whole situation to him.

"So this little fatty kept pestering you to be his girlfriend and even tried to get handsy with you, so you hit him?"

"Mm-hmm."

"Looks like you didn't break his nose properly. Next time, hit harder. I'll teach you a few moves when we get home."

"Okay!"

Haley nodded excitedly, already eager to try.

Teacher Mary was somewhat speechless—so you actually think Haley didn't hit him hard enough?

Julian then walked over to the mother and son pair. As for the man from earlier—he had already been kicked unconscious by Julian and was completely useless now.

The woman, on the other hand, was terrified. Never in her wildest dreams did she imagine that the girl who had bullied her son was actually Julian's sister.

The same Julian who could command a First-class Legendary.

This wasn't just kicking an iron plate—it was kicking the hardest titanium alloy plate in the world.

While the woman trembled in fear, her son, standing beside her, looked at Julian with stars in his eyes and said excitedly, "Champion Walker, can I have your autograph?"

Seeing that pure admiration in the boy's gaze, Julian found it hard to stay angry.

But before he could even respond, the woman suddenly slapped her son hard across the face and scolded him furiously, "Look at the mess you've caused!"

"Don't you know what you look like? How could a pretty girl like her ever be interested in you?"

With that, she landed several more slaps, completely stunning the boy, who immediately started crying, tears and snot streaming down his face.

Seeing this, Julian said nothing more and walked over to Haley. "If you're still angry, go ahead and slap him a few times."

"Yes, yes, young lady, go ahead and hit him!"

The woman immediately nodded upon hearing this.

Haley, however, shook her head with a look of disgust. There was no helping it—the boy's face was now covered in tears and snot, and slapping him would probably leave her hand sticky.

"Alright, you can go now."

Seeing that the boy had already been beaten into a swollen mess by his own mother, Julian waved his hand, signaling for them to leave.

With the matter resolved, Haley wrapped her arm around Julian's and said affectionately, "Brother, you've been home all this time. Why haven't you come to see me?"

"Too lazy to go out," Julian simply replied.

He couldn't help it—he was a homebody through and through. When he had nothing to do, his favorite thing was to stay home, lying on the couch all day.

Just then, Teacher Mary came over holding a small notebook.

"Champion Walker, my son really admires you. Could you please sign this for him?"

"Teacher, you can just call me Julian as always."

Julian nodded, took the notebook, signed his name, and even added a few words of encouragement.

"Then I'll continue calling you Julian."

As she spoke, Teacher Mary's face was filled with pride and excitement. Julian was a Champion—one who could command a First-class Legendary at that. There were many Champions in the world, but only he could do that.

Then, Teacher Mary happily pulled Julian aside to take a photo together.

Soon, word spread through the school that Julian had come. He had spent three years at Lake City No. 1 High School, and quite a few teachers there had taught him.

So when they came asking for autographs and photos, Julian naturally couldn't refuse.

And of course, the students were even more excited. If it weren't for the teachers and security guards holding them back, they would have rushed over long ago.

After all, Julian was their senior—a living legend. Now that their legendary senior had returned to school, how could they not seize the chance to see him up close?
