Chapter 820 - Chapter 1037: To The Capital

Under the eyes of countless soldiers and construction workers, Julian's Dragonite leaped from the Pseudo-Champion tier straight to the early-stage Champion.

After circling in the air a few times, bringing with it a gust of fierce wind, Dragonite came to an abrupt halt in front of Julian.

Its originally goofy expression now carried a touch of excitement, having become a Champion.

Patting Dragonite's belly, Julian proudly said, "Congratulations, Dragonite."

Julian's Dragonite was exceptionally well-developed. At over four meters tall, it was more than half a head taller than Julian. It bent down and gently nuzzled Julian with its head, radiating joy and gratitude.

Watching Metagross, Moltres, Gengar, and Aggron become Champions one after another, Dragonite, who had been with Julian from the very beginning, had inevitably felt somewhat anxious.

Now it had finally become a Champion too, without dragging things out too much or letting Julian down.

"Just going in once, and Dragonite became a Champion. Are the opportunities inside really that great?"

Jake looked at Dragonite, now a Champion, and his eyes turned red with envy.

He clearly remembered that before entering, Dragonite had not even reached the peak of the Pseudo-Champion tier, yet after coming out it directly became a Champion. The leap was truly enormous.

"Yeah, I obtained a World-class treasure that happened to be a perfect fit for Dragonite," Julian said calmly.

His expression made Jake instinctively clutch his chest as he said, "Stop talking, you unfilial brat!"

A World-class treasure, spoken of so casually—did he even know how rare that thing was?

If using an ordinary Ultimate treasure gave a Pokémon a certain chance of reaching the Champion tier, then using a World-class treasure increased that probability to over 90 percent.

A World-class treasure was practically an invitation to the Champion tier. With it, as long as you weren't utterly useless, becoming a Champion was almost guaranteed.

"Watch your tone."

John slapped the back of Jake's head irritably, then turned his gaze to Julian, his face filled with pride.

"As expected of my good grandson. Counting Dragonite, you should have five Champion-level Pokémon now, right?"

"Mm."

Julian nodded.

"Just one short of old Duke."

As the former strongest Champion of Drakoria, Duke possessed six Champion-level Pokémon—a number unmatched among all known Champion-level trainers worldwide.

Now Julian had five, just one shy of Duke's.

"My dear grandson, have you already finished exploring the Primal Secret Realm?"

When John said this, his tone carried some surprise. Julian had been in the Primal Secret Realm for over half a year, which certainly wasn't a short time, but this was a brand-new Secret Realm. Could he really have completed the exploration in just over half a year?

"No, the Primal Secret Realm is too vast. In these past several months, I've only explored about one-fifth of it. The energy erosion inside is also stronger than in Top-tier secret realms. Without the Realm Fruit, my body could probably only withstand it for a year."

"And that one-fifth area is already about the size of the Asian continent."

Julian shook his head and explained.

John and Jake knew that Julian's body had strong resistance to secret realm's energy erosion. As for the specific reason, Julian had only mentioned that he had consumed a treasure. So neither of them pressed further.

"So huge?!"

When Jake heard Julian say he had explored one-fifth of the area, which was already comparable in size to the entire continent, his eyes widened in disbelief.

"Yep, very large," Julian nodded seriously.

Just then, John's phone suddenly rang.

"Hey, brother."

"John, Julian is out, right?"

"Yeah, he's out."

"Then tell Julian to come to the capital immediately to report on the situation inside the Primal Secret Realm. You and Jake come too."

James's voice on the phone sounded quite urgent.

Julian's entry into the Primal Secret Realm had been a major focus for Drakoria. Now that he was finally out, they naturally wanted to hear from him about the specific situation inside.

"What's the rush? My dear grandson has been stuck inside for over half a year. Shouldn't he go home and rest first? They've waited this long; a few more days won't hurt."

John said bluntly.

Hearing that, James thought it did make sense. However, many high-ranking officials in Drakoria, including the other five Elders, were eagerly awaiting information about the secret realm.

"Grandpa, I'm fine. Great-uncle, I'll come over right away. You can wait for me in Conference Room No. 1."

Both John and James spoke rather loudly, so Julian heard their conversation clearly and thus shouted into John's phone.

Since his grandson said so, John naturally didn't insist further.

John rode his Skarmory, Jake rode his Salamence, and Julian rode his Dragonite. The three generations of grandfather, father, and son flew together toward the capital.

The news of Julian's emergence from the Primal Secret Realm was promptly announced to the public by the Drakorian government.

After all, this matter had been under constant attention from both various countries and the domestic public. Even if Drakoria did not announce it, did you really think foreign spies wouldn't find out?

With so many soldiers and construction workers there, who knew whether there were spies from other countries among them.

And the commotion caused by Dragonite's breakthrough just now had been so great that it was impossible not to attract attention.

So Drakoria simply chose to directly announce the news that Julian had come out.

---

> "Champion Walker is finally out. I wonder what treasures are inside the Primal Secret Realm?"

> "Now that he's out, does that mean we might have a chance to enter too?"

> "Anyone below the Elite-level should forget about it—going in would be certain death."

> "I haven't even entered a Top-tier secret realm, let alone the more dangerous Primal Secret Realm."

> "The second batch to enter will likely be our domestic Champions and various scholars."

---

Domestically, discussions were in full swing. Even though they knew they had no chance of entering the Primal Secret Realm themselves, they still wanted to join in on the excitement.

Internationally, the reaction was even more intense.

Upon learning that Julian was out, all countries friendly with Drakoria immediately instructed their ambassadors stationed in Drakoria to gather information and see if there was any possibility of gaining entry for themselves, even though the chances were slim.

"Dad, you brat, wait for me!"

In the sky, Jake watched somewhat gloomily as John and Julian were about to leave him in the dust.

John's Skarmory and Julian's Dragonite were both at the Champion-level, so their flight speed naturally far surpassed that of his Salamence.

"Salamence, hurry up!"

Jake urged from atop Salamence's back.

Salamence's wings were practically about to smoke. Hearing its trainer's unsympathetic remarks from its back, it really felt like tossing him off.

The main reason it was slower than the others was simply because it was weaker.

And why was it weaker? Wasn't it because its trainer wasn't pulling his weight, spending all day fishing instead of training?

Look at that Dragonite—it became a Champion in just a few years.

Thinking about how it had watched Dragonite grow up from a Dratini, and now its strength was something Salamence could only look up to, made Salamence even more unhappy.
