Chapter 821 - Chapter 1038: Meeting

In Conference Room No. 1, by the time Julian arrived, the room was already packed.

The six Elders, several Champions, and more than a dozen heads of various departments were all seated solemnly in their chairs, with only the occasional pair of adjacent people speaking in low voices.

As the door opened, John, Jake, and Julian filed in one after another.

Seeing so many people gathered in the conference room, Julian was somewhat surprised. After all, everyone present held positions of great authority in Drakoria.

For such a complete gathering, one might have thought they were preparing for a national war with another country.

John and Jake found their seats and sat down, while Julian unhesitatingly took the head seat—after all, this meeting was convened specifically for him.

To his left sat his great-uncle, James, and to his right was the second Elder.

"Everyone, I won't waste words. Let's get straight to the point," Julian said.

He then picked up the Laptop on the table and had Metagross beside him input the data, displaying it on the large screen for everyone to see.

"The Primal Secret Realm is currently divided into five major regions. Over these past several months, I've only explored one of them, called the Obsidian Fieldlands."

"The Obsidian Fieldlands, in turn, is composed of more than a dozen sub-regions, each larger than many of our provinces."

"This is the area of the Obsidian Fieldlands calculated by Metagross."

As the screen displayed an area of 80 million square kilometers, many in the room showed expressions of disbelief.

"Don't doubt it. This area is accurate. It was calculated by Metagross using its supercomputer."

Before anyone could question the data's validity, Julian directly confirmed its accuracy.

"Incredible. The area of this Primal Secret Realm is even larger than the entire continent," one of the Elders murmured to himself.

Suddenly, someone asked, "Champion Walker, you mentioned earlier that during your time inside, you only explored the Obsidian Fieldlands. Does this mean the map does not represent the entirety of the Primal Secret Realm?"

Prompted by this question, others immediately recalled Julian's earlier words, and their expressions grew even more astonished.

Julian nodded. "That's correct. There are five such regions in the entire Primal Secret Realm, similar to the Obsidian Fieldlands. Due to the erosion of secret realm's energy, I was unable to explore a second region and thus left."

"Incredible... truly unbelievable."

Everyone present had experienced countless major events, but hearing these words now, even they could hardly remain composed.

"What about the Pokémon inside?" asked a leading figure in the research field.

"I discovered several regional variants."

"And the Pokémon inside are incredibly powerful. In each of these regions, there are Pseudo-Champion-level Pokémon, and not just one."

"There are also more Pokémon communities compared to other secret realms, and their strength is naturally greater."

"It can be said that a single region here is equivalent to an enhanced version of a Top-tier secret realm."

"And the strongest among them is a Kleavor in the Grandtree Arena."

As he spoke, Julian displayed the King Form Kleavor on the large screen.

"Is it an undiscovered Pokémon?"

"No."

"This is a regional variant of Scizor in this secret realm. Moreover, the normal Kleavor is not golden either."

With that, Julian displayed the normally colored Kleavor.

"So, that was a Shiny variant?"

"No."

Julian once again denied the speculation of the expert from the Pokémon research field.

"This is the King Form—a very powerful form bestowed by Arceus."

"The Obsidian Fieldlands is governed by Kleavor, and the other four regions are overseen by four other Pokémon possessing the King Form."

Julian's words landed like bombs, leaving everyone present somewhat stunned. How did Arceus even come into the picture?

"My dear grandson, how strong is this Kleavor?" John asked curiously.

"Peak Champion."

"!!!!"

The expressions of everyone present froze in place.

'Peak Champion!'

What did this mean? This was a level currently unattained by human trainers. Although there were many Champion-level trainers worldwide, most were only at the early-stage Champion and possessed only one Champion-level Pokémon.

Those at the late-stage were pitifully few, and not a single one had reached the peak of the Champion tier.

It could be said that a single peak Champion Pokémon could handle four or five late-stage Champions. Against early-stage Champions, it would absolutely dominate.

The gap between a peak Champion and a early-stage Champion was immense.

"My dear grandson, did you defeat it then?"

"Of course! My Metagross is very strong," Julian said proudly.

"Meta~"

Metagross also wore a proud expression. Its body still bore gashes and cracks, all left behind by Kleavor's strikes that had yet to fully heal.

If Julian wasn't lying, then even without the power of the Twin Dragons, his current strength would be unrivaled on this planet.

Being able to defeat a peak Champion Pokémon—no trainer on this planet had reached that stage yet. If Julian wasn't the number one, who else could be?

"Excellent, truly worthy of being my son!" Jake laughed.

Julian glanced at his father. When happy, he called him "son"; when displeased, it was "brat" or "unfilial son."

Jake seemed to notice Julian's gaze and glared back: 'What are you looking at, brat?'

"What do you mean 'your son'? He's my grandson!"

John slapped Jake on the back of the head again.

Jake: ⊙▃⊙

'Dad, isn't this brat my son too? What did I say wrong?'

"Julian, does the King Form provide a buff to Kleavor?" asked Duke.

His words pulled everyone back from the shock of Julian defeating a peak Champion.

"Yeah, and a very significant one."

Julian then explained the effects of the King Form.

"That's really something else!" Jake muttered quietly.

"Indeed, the buff from the King Form is just too overpowering," Champion William, sitting beside him, nodded in agreement.

"I was talking about the brat who defeated the King Form being something else. But then again, as expected of my flesh and blood—he has a bit of my style from my younger days," Jake grinned, his face brimming with pride.

William: 'Are you even listening to yourself?'

But Jake wasn't wrong. If Julian's Metagross could defeat a King Form Kleavor, just how strong must it be?

Moreover, Metagross's level was lower than Kleavor's to begin with. That was simply outrageous—utterly, ridiculously outrageous.

"Kleavor is too strong. I suggest it's best not to enter the Grandtree Arena where it resides," Julian kindly advised.

The other Champions: 'Thanks for the reminder, don't worry, we won't be going in.'

They were not tired of living—how could they possibly go.

William wasn't even keen on entering the Primal Secret Realm anymore. It felt too dangerous. He still had plans to continue expanding his family—his dozen or so sons weren't particularly outstanding.

If he died inside, the family would surely decline.
